How big are your save files?

This is just out of curiosity, to know where I stand with other players. As of now, my latest save file is 60M. Ive been playing on this run or 135 hrs, have 15 settlements with an average of 15 settlers. I have 27 peoples in HQ and just finished "is there a doctor in the house ?" quest. For vanilla main quest, I'm about to build the device to get into the Institute.

In my current playthrough, I have 209 hours in, and my save file is 84MB. I only save through the console.

120 hours, haven't done HQ yet. In the vanilla quest, just met Father. File size 49MB. I don't know what a normal file size is supposed to be but it seems like we're in the same ballpark.

I only save through the console.
@UndercoverHat I've only ever saved the normal way. Is there a benefit to doing it through the console (other than naming the save)?

I heard (and I believe it was in these forums, but it was quite a while ago) that the saves through the built-in methods such as through the menu or quick-save, that extra garbage is added to your save file. When saving through the console, this doesn't occur. I am not sure why, but I understand that saving through the console greatly reduces the chance of your save being corrupted. Some of the Community Rockstars on here may be able to give a better explanation.
