Hotfix 2.0.0k

My CPD officers appear to be borked. Lena is still by the cook's cabin and Simon is on the overpass, he started talking about defending police HQ but the quest never started?
Definitely make a post in the help section, or add your report to another if you see the same thing reported. Our main quest implementer is out sick atm, but he's been starting to tackle CPD stuff so I imagine he'll take note of any reports on those sorts of things.

Hi sorry to bother you but the nightingales that I have met will talk to me is it because I am not high enough level to trigger the thing?
I haven't managed to find which thread it was said in, but I seem to recall KG mentioning the Nightingales not talking as a known bug that was going to wait a bit until more of the underlying issues were fixed, since it was a relatively big project. Can anyone verify?

I've never had one of the wandering ones say anything. Have you checked to see if their door has spawned outside Diamond City. That's how you start their quest line.
From the wiki: "The Nightingale Camp will appear across from the Diamond City Entrance when you have 30 residential plots across all your settlements and control at least 3 settlements."
Thank you

Is it a bug that if I disable the disease option, the "disease cure" will still spawn in Nightingale-sponsored loot boxes?

Not really their quest line has some stuff to do with the disease system I think the disable disease system only turns it off so settlers don’t get it. At least that’s what I think I remember from playing like half their quest line. If I’m wrong somebody else will chime in to let us know.

my quest was bugged so I don't know the rest and skipped through

Finding the cure diseases in their boxes are normal, you're okay. I've played through the questline, and turning off disease is just so your settlers/settlements don't get sick. Currently having diseases off doesn't effect the Nightingales storyline or HQ research. I've had it off my entire playthrough and I'm on the last mission for Chapter 2, and my HQ science department is researching 3 different diseases.

Fixed a bug with the ForcePlotLevel command that could cause the level to fail to actually advance correctly.
Thanks, that is working great!

However, and unfortunately... My plots will still not upgrade after selecting "upgrade available" (reference GavMan's post and my reply in original thread 'Hotfix 2.0.0.j'). Perhaps I am missing something really silly on my end but I've exhausted my troubleshooting skills and knowledge and will be making a post in the SS2 help section.

Edit: Thread created in SS2 help

I'm having the same issue with building construction not completing after ForcePlotLevel command. Started a new game with hotfix k.

With the latest K patch, I am getting my first CTDs. Jake has gone off after Aiden upset him…I returned to do other quests. So far, so good. Then, I went in vault 81, having already completed All of the quests for Mansfield….did the mole rat quest to get Curie. Dismissed Preston. I saved. Quit.
Today, I logged back in and got on the elevator to leave. Three times I get a crash trying to leave vault 81. Anyone else having this issue?

I actually just saved last night in the secret Vault 81 section. I'll let you know if I crash trying to leave.
I did not get a crash.

Is it a bug if raiders will still respawn in Concord even after the rebuild of the place?

No, if i remember correctly, they didn't want to touch the vanilla random encounter marker there. Most just don't notice it without SimSettlement as there is no reason to go to Concord unless you're playing survival.

Not a biggie but was wondering if anyone else has had a problem with Voice of the commonwealth 2nd edition after updating to 2.0.0k where when you take Jeff to interview Phil after the interview the quest gets stuck and will not proceed. I can still go interview the girl at bunker hill after doing Phils and her interview ends correctly, but Phil still shows active quest marker at the slog. It doesn't matter which order i do the interviews i get the same results. On a previous playthrough before updating to 2.0.0k it did not do this.

It’s funny I play most of my game out of either red rocket or sanctuary so I tend to walk through pretty often. You can even hear them shooting from red rocket occasionally. But yeah most don’t stay that far north after the first few hours.

Yea same, especially if you need to do some SS2 related quest you need to go to the church relatively frequently
