Hotfix 2.0.0g

I think some people don't grasp the concept and just think it's some kind of anti free speech thing. They just don't understand and they probably never will...or until they have kids...or grow up a bit.

The thing about older people who game that the younger ones dont get. Weve been your age...its been done. You just havent gotten to ours yet. Experience and attitudes change.

Although, some people dont. Its true. Ignorant for life.

Think what you want.

Yes I curse like a sailor. No I don't want my kids hearing it.
I had a similar view when I was younger. It has changed over the years.
He is just saying it would be nice to have an option and I agree.
This is not a problem for me since I converted my old laundry room into my game room but I still wear a head set when the kids are around.
There is an option...in the audio settings. I am just sick and tired of whiney people trying to change the world to fit their perspective.

To be honest, I couldn't care less about Cola, she leaves zero impressions on me at all, every time I go near Old Paul he wants canned dog food to feed her but, no payback at all? She doesn't provide defenses for the settlement nor a lovable pet impression
14 AGI. Send her to HQ, assign her to security.

I use Xbox and that means in the living room. I don't swear and teach my kids the same. The minor stuff that shows up is fine but he is a bit over the top, so I'll either need to use headsets or not play at all.

I am not judging people using or not using, I am addressing that this bias use of language is far worse them all.of FO4.
If you teach your kids not to swear, they'll swear more than anyone else you know. I speak from personal experience.

But for real, F04 is less family-friendly than GTA, or anything really except maybe the witcher. Do you avoid raiders altogether? Their search dialog is filthier than anything Shanddy says. Plus if you meet a kid from boston he'll probably sound just like that.

Pretty funny to read a discussion about swearing in this game being a problem. All while the visual and auditory violence is constant.
I mean the fact that your kids see you actively shoot, loot and rob people wielding improvised and crazy firearms is not a problem, but a swear... needs censorship.

"Pick up that cannibal perk, dismember some raiders, brutally slaughter wildlife, fire mini nukes for fun, steal, do what you want! Just don't swear, you hear!" - Sole Survivor

Made me chuckle, then again firearms are illegal where I live so I guess I couldn't relate to finding them "normal".

+1 for more censorship options before the mod gets taken down for some reason.

Not to mention the trail of nearly naked bodies in your wake...

My kids not o ly don't swear nut they are happy to do service for others, yard work for the elderly (free) helping other pack a truck to move (this Saturday) so I would argue your empirical evidence is like mine, both true but different experiences.

I don’t see how swearing is related to any of those other things. And just because they don’t swear in front of you doesn’t mean they don’t. I’ve been told that I say f#€& more than anyone on earth, and at a time that may have been true, but my mother has never heard me say it or any other profanity because I don’t want to listen to her act like I’m still 5 years old.

I only comments on her, there is another thread seperate.

Since 2.0.0g I have had several cases, where the max number in Facilities etc. have droped to 0 . I thought this problem was solved previosly.

The last times it occured after recruting Frank Jr. to HQ. He looks as a nice guy, but could he be the culprit ?

Have you rerun the fix in the ss2 asam desk?

  • Fixed a bug that could have prevented Edmund from fixing up the church and starting his sermons. This patch will check for this issue and if found, will correct it shortly after booting up.

Started a new playthrough with this patch. Father Edmund arrived after Jake brought the comm hub back from Olivia. His dialogue tree still will not activate and he simply says "How are you this day". Note appeared on the bulletin board about services at 9pm. I waited around for the service to begin, but Edmund just stays in his chair.

Try finishing Well, Well, Well and talking to him again - I believe we have his intro flagged for after that quest is complete.

I find he does the sermons. The board gives quests. He doesnt say much unless you are on the a particular quest and the church never cleaned up even after finishing Calebs quest.

It's still a mess in there.

Well Well Well was completed before I tried to speak to him. I will try again at 9pm the next night.
Thanks for all your awesome work. Loving CH2.

The sermons won't start until after you have the initial conversation with Edmund about his backstory - once that happens, either 24 or 48 hours later he'll rebuild the church - after that the sermons start.

Ah okay. Well in that case, I am still unable to trigger his initial conversation, despite asking Jake about him at the beginning of Well Well Well and completing the quest.

If you mean, the 10 person fix in the intro, then yes. I ran it and no problems in the intro.
I had just passed 20 persons in HQ the last 2 times the bug hit me.
Ouch, and I've never gotten to even 11 before theybstarted disappearing.
