I made Codsworth the Mayor of Abernathy, and he will not leave Sanctuary. Known issue or intentional ?

Update SS2 to 2.0.0f + WS and HUD. And now, i can't start cleaning project in 1 room. No workers and f.energy 4/5 ...
I have the same problem, was questing for some time, came back to HQ and apparently all positions were reduced to 0. The only working department is engineering, which is the only one with private quarters for the department head. I cant do anything now since i dont get logistics scrap. Is there a console command to restore the worker limit?

I started a new game, so I still in CH1. When Jake gives me the martial plot after "Hey, hey, hey" I still can't build it cause its not appear in the workshop. I forget something or is a change in the game?

thx for keeping this updated but i found a anoying bug that i think means i have to reload my encounter moment in the sunken boat because i had a save inside the nightingale hq near DC but when i load it i end up in the sanctuary root cellar

also strangly enough when loading thru vortex i get a message that the ss2_xpac_chapter2 esm is missing even when vortec does load it and is enabled

Hi! if you completely uninstall the Chapter 2 mod from Vortex and reinstall it manually by dragging the .zip file from your downloads file into Vortex in the drop file box, in the mods section that should solve your issue.

It will appear under Industrial. He mentions he jury-rigged an industrial sensor.

managed to solve it when i found out i had to upgrade SS2 to the same patch number as the chapter 2 version but thanks for that option

BTW, thoroughly enjoying this. I know supporting the xbox has its own set of challenges, so thanks for continuing the effort.
I was having trouble getting Mansfield to come to the HQ. So after getting an Xbox Series S for early Christmas (which has its own set of trials it turns out), I started a new completely new game with a severely restricted set of mods. I then "quest skipped" to the end of Chapter 1 (which is ALSO a very interesting thing to do. :) ). This time I've played all the way to "How to HQ" and Mansfield did come correctly this time. Here's what I've learned:

Save often (because the Series S crashes all the time anyway) so you have something to go back to.
Be Patient. Don't shoot every gunner on site (ex, Vault 75...shot the guy beside elevator before he said anything and had to go back one save)
Wait for the dialogue to complete. I seem to have a better experience not skipping through the dialogue. I got caught in sunken ship that way, and scripts seem to need the time to line up correctly.
Sometimes it just doesn't work and you need to try again. On my first playthrough I got right through HQ, saw Captain Wes, etc. On my Series S playthrough something didn't trigger so Captain Wes never showed up. I think (once again) I killed the gunners on the second floor too quickly so I never got the "what are you people doing??" dialogue. So again, full saves at the end of every quest so there's a bookmark to go back to. Right now, my only problem is that I can't get the first edition from Alyson...she just says "Oh Hey!"....so I think it's another time where I skipped something necessary....But this time Pastor Edwards is cleaning up the church, Mansfield is there, and I know how not to screw up the sunken ship....all good.
