find owner not working:

I hope people are still on here to help me? I have just got back into FO4 after playing on XB and moving over to PC first time modder here I do like how simple it is to download mods on FO4 no really a code/ hacking/ expert modder kind of guy. Any way I have down loaded SS1 as it wont let me DL SS2 but thats another story for another day! got my first couple of plots down when I go to find owner I click it and the menu disappears but nothing pops? what am I doing wrong? I have been watching the how to videos by Kinggarth but cant find anything on this? Things I have tried are fast traveled away and back, reloaded the game, hard restart on PC and reloaded and finally deleted and redownloaded SS1 mods but nothing worked the only thing I can think of next is to delete my save and re download and start a new game but without any addons and just SS1 only please help yall!!!!!!

The find owner option uses the quest system to track the owner. Did you enable the find owner quest in your pipboy?

after uninstalling the game/ mods and reinstalling everything seems to be working fine. what a awesome mod feel this should of been in the base game adds a new life to it.
