Fighting other factions

Kinggath mention in the live stream that you should install factions other than the one you are leading in order to vary the kinds of enemies you fight. I tried it and fought some Libertalia raiders for control of Abernathy. It was pretty neat, but they must of been way lost.

Looking forward to fighting Gunners, Triggermen, and even Aliens soon. I hope I find a better rifle before I have to fight Super Mutants.
 
If no one makes the BoS as an attack I'll have to do it myself, seriously, they're the only ones who can put up a decent fight in this game
 
I'm going to wait and see what faction packs get updated over the next couple of weeks and then I'll go ham on this. Can't wait!

I believe I did see a BoS faction pack on the Nexus, though they're a liberator faction. I imagine they'd still show up and attack though.
 
Really? I thought the way it worked was attackers that were scripted to attack those faction packs were also going to be used as attacks for your faction, but not the actual faction raiding you, I have other 2 faction packs and they have never attacked me, I get Trappers, Raiders and Gunners only
 
I have several faction packs installed and have had them show up as Attackers and the Defenders of Settlements I attack. BoS and Minutemen have both appeared.

Huh? Can you name them? I really want BoS Attacks

Right, modifying vanilla stuff is always bad in "my books"

I use that pack and saw a BoS attack my Settlement. It's random which Factions out of the ones you have installed attack.

Kinggath doesn't modify vanilla stuff, but this mod author did.
 
Yeah I already downloaded it and I removed the vanilla records it altered , hopefully I get to see them attack me, did they use vertibirds? also are you using the Conqueror or Liberator version of the pack

I had Liberator set up. I didn't get Vertibirds or anything.
 
I saw a Gunners faction pack that is supposed to have BoS attacks towards you, but I had that installed and didn't do anything, also the Institue pack I have also does not attack me , strange..

I am using the Gunner pack, that is when I got a BoS attack. I didn't think it was from the pack.
