Hello, and welcome.

The game not starting at all is definitely not an SS2 issue, and I haven't seen it with the NG update. Make sure you are following the load order noted here for XBox, make sure all of your mods are updated, and you might try reinstalling the game and your mods (might have a bad download or a file corruption).

I did have a save file fail on me today - at first it would not load at all, and then the save file disappeared completely. Save early, save often.

I followed the load order to a T, the issue is that if I'm trying to load/fast travel/approach a big settlement, it either crashes the game or leaves me with a upwards of 20 minute load time thar rarely actually finishes loading before crashing as well.

I can't even load or enter HQ at all without crashing. My only mods are SS2, Chapter 2, and the required framework mods, plus cheat terminal.

It doesn't matter if I only ever load into parts of the game that do work and avoid settlements entirely, I can't get into HQ no matter what.

I can probably find work around to the settlement stuff, which involves just not going to them which isn't fun, but the HQ stuff is a brick wall.

I think we'll find out more about how much the NG update on XBox might be causing issues with SS2 when kinggath resumes his XBox playthrough on his livestream on YouTube and Twitch on Wednesday nights, since I don't think XBox users have a choice to not update.

I can't think of any other fixes for you at the moment, but maybe someone else has experienced this and had some luck?
