Suggestion Faction Prefferd Settlements(outposts)

Factions could have one or two preferred settlements that when turned into an outpost give some sort of bonus to the troops stationed there. I have been playing the Libertatia faction and was thinking that i would be neat if they had a prefred settlement like the castle or the lighthouse or spectacle island, Minute Men could get a bonus from The Castle or Bunker Hill, BoS the Airport, Institute could prefer covenant or somesuch. Would work well if the npc factions could take settlements, and have a preference for capturing certain ones.

I do like this idea. It's part of why I started making new settlement locations, so that there can be more locations to use with Conqueror. I would love it if all the vanilla factions plus Jammer's Raiders plus potentially a Faction Pack of the player's choosing(maybe more than one with the others to serve as enemies or maybe allied faction) all struggled for territory. A special bonus for a faction controlling specific settlements would be really nice to see.

In terms of providing thematic settlements - I don't know if Conqueror itself would add faction city plans, aside from the city plan contest pack which will have Minutemen or Raider theme. I don't know if Conqueror or the Contest are likely to add in BoS/Institute/Railroad/etc thematic settlements. Most likely the addon pack authors and other city planners would be the ones to make thematic settlements, there are some making blueprints like this so hopefully they might make city plans also. For myself if I were to make a city plan outside of the contest I likely would use a new location since the contest will add a good number of plans in addition to the RotC to just about every vanilla settlement.

I, too, would love to see this as a feature. Especially the struggle between factions. Currently the Conqueror system seems one-sided, with you simply capturing every settlement. It would be nice to see more war between factions similar to the Open Civil War mod that was made for Skyrim, and also have a reason to go after certain settlements for their bonuses and special resources. It would add more to the game than just pointlessly conquering everything.

Civilization series.. resources specific to region, area... special things for location....
