Resolved Dorm Life Doubled Up, But Not In The Expected Way + 1 Other Thing

My level 3 Dorm Life has two bed units merged together, causing serious flickering/fighting. I refreshed it a couple of times when I went back to the settlement, but definitely still there. I am on the latest patch to boot.

The +1 of this thread is that I have a marker from the Project files (a blue guy hunched over butchering meat) that remains visible even though holotape option is set to WS only. All other markers I placed like attack markers, coffee blue man, etc, vanish as expected.

Let's see what the problem would be.
Just one blue animation placer remains? That is interesting. Worth to take a look at.

On the bed issue, did you use the ASAM, the Immersion Breaker Breaker or a complete settlement refresh to do the refresh? For the blueman issue turn your [Options][Gameplay Options][Visual][City Marker Objects= Hidden] go into WS mode and then out. If it is still visible go to sleep for a few hours and switch it back to ws only and go back into WS mode and out and sleep a few hours. Let us know how that works.
Thank you

For the bed, I always use the Refresh Plot on the plot pole to restore normal plot function, but I have also used the Refresh All Plots on that settlement after I did some testing with the City Toolkit stuff. That plot always doubled up after each attempt. I have been in/out of that settlement through my playthrough, with refreshes throughout - no change. Also, I have tried going from WS Mode only and back to always visible, never, etc etc, no change. I picked up the marker and then escaped out thinking that latest Sim patch ("Respect") might have made it "not mine" or whatever. No change.

My attack markers and other blue men appear only in WS mode as I intended, but this one is a real stickler for not respecting my limits. Hehe

Did you mention which settlement this was in... if any? The reason I ask is that I have a "blue man butcher marker" in the Tenpines RotC settlement that was visible outside of WS mode as well. At least it was the last time I visited the settlement (which is at level 2, I believe). I did the "options-settings-on-again-off-again-dance", but it made no difference. All the other blue men disappeared when WS mode was closed... except that lone butcher. I just shrugged and moved on. Haven't been back to the settlement to see if it's resolved itself since, however.

Custom settlement added by the mod Northern Exposure. It's a blue man I placed/not city placed in my case. It worked before Respect came out, but now doesn't.

Update to Dorm Life: My fault on that one. I had by some miracle placed a bunk bed in near the same location from before the interior plot was occupied. When it built, I had forgotten that I had placed manual beds. I happened to hover over the bed for some other reason and saw that one was a manually placed bed and the other was a plot-placed bed. Once stored, the Dorm Life looks and acts normal.

Still have the problem of the blue man butcher though. I came back after an extended period to find all my markers visible outside WS, so I checked the holotape to be sure. Still only supposed to show in WS. I opened and closed WS, and all but the blue butcher vanished.

Good to hear that you got it solved.

Issue with butcher animation marker will be fixed in upcoming patch for Sim Settlements.
