"Disappearance of Jake Evans" Cannot progress dialogue with Aiden

Outside of the Rons office, once I start the dialogue with Aiden, it will just hang and not continue. The only similar problem I have found was someone with diamond city expansion, but disabling that did not solve the issue.

Did you ever discover a solution for this? Having the same issue.

Yup, got nothing but conversations trouble with the Aiden character, managed to get passed most of it by fast traveling and restarting the conversation.
But I'm now stuck outside of malden high school and nothing works with this character now.

Having the same issue with Aiden, but only Aiden. Sometimes fast travel to worked but I'm also stuck at that location. For me something in the save or is gumming things up. Started a new game with my modlist. Skipped to the end of chapter one and everything worked fine.
