Customizable Salvagers

Was wondering if there was a way to customize the gear the salvagers are wearing such as armor weapons and such. I’ve tried trading equipment with them like I do to my settlers but trade dialogue option doesn’t show up. Thanks

That isn't currently possible - unless you want to edit your copy of the mod. It's something I might dive into in the future as the plan has always been to make Salvage Beacons part of Sim Settlements, at which point I'll want to give it more depth.

If you're on PC and don't have a problem using console commands, you can always try this:
1. Open the console (<~> key on US keyboards).
2. Click on the NPC you wish to equip
(you should see the NPC's ID number center middle of your display.)
3. type openactorcontainer 1 then hit the <enter> key
Addendum: 4. Close the console (hit the <~> key again)
You should now see an open window allowing access to that NPC's inventory (this works in Skyrim as well). Just drop whatever equipment you want into their inventory window and then close it out. As long as you know the NPC's reference ID (and they aren't dead), you can access their inventory anywhere in the commonwealth with the right commands.
