Update None of the following was done with trying to get exporting to work again in mind. I was just playing around with my load order and deciding on what sort of playthrough I wanted.
I removed a mod called MIA (Missed In Action), along with an SMM patch for it as well as an SMM patch for Thematic & Practical (kept Thematic & Practical though). I also removed a mod called Optimized Vanilla Textures (though I had definitely successfully exported a build while using it before), and the mod A Forest at Summer's End along with it's parent mod, A Forest (although I am like 99.9% sure I have successfully exported with those as well). Lastly, I uninstalled and reinstalled all of my Sim Settlements mods. I am not really sure what did the trick, but I tried to export a sort of foundational build just to give it one last try, because I liked it. What do ya know? It exported. w00t! I will try to do another export once I have built up the digs for Preston & Co. Here's hoping.
I have been delighted with the ability to export my settlement builds and reuse for other playthroughs, so I do not have to bog myself down with building a new settlement every time. But just the last two playthroughs, I have encountered consistent crashing when I try to export some new builds I have done. I simply cannot export anymore. Is this something anyone else has encountered?
I have not manually changed any settings in WSFW or anything. I do not think I have downloaded any new things that affect settlement building. Could there be a problem with using too many mods that add settlement craftables? I really miss being able to save my settlements. Any help and/or info is appreciated.
