Question CTD when building in workshop

I believe that I've narrowed down the problem to Sim Settlements, which I use the most basic version of, as related to the crashing. It happens whenever I seem to put too much strain on the game in the workshop menu, generally by trying to place a complicated object, like a jukebox or the interior recreation area plot, thus leading to a crash to desktop. The latest crashes all happen while trying to build in Sanctuary, though I have had experiences with ctds in red rocket.

Here is my load order:
fallout4
dlcrobot
dlcworkshop01
dlccoast
dlcworkshop02
dlcworkshop03
dlcnukaworld
unofficial fallout4 patch
simsettlements
dv-deadly vertibirds
dv-no levelled vertibirds
companion infinite ammo
better power armor
scrap everything - ultimate edition
precombine (this is a patch found on these forums for dealing with this mod and scrap everything together)

I've tried turning off scrap everything in vortex and the crash issue continues. I haven't turned off sim settlements because doing so would eliminate all I've built using the mod so far, as it has in the past when I turned it off to diagnose another ctd issue, which I believe was caused then by scrap everything. All of the above mods are handled through vortex. F4SE is in use. Windowed + Borderless did not fix the issue.

Sorry, :sorry I might have some bad news.

You can't just turn off a mod once you find out it does something that you don't like or damages your game.

You have to roll back your save game to a time when the mod was not installed. "Before is was ever installed." Even if that means a new game. It's just how save files work.

Also see the below:

I personally can't use "scrap everything" as it breaks my game every time.

Others might suggest it is ok. That might be true, hahaha until it isn't.

Zyler22, I would suggest one of the "Raze My Settlement mods" instead of (scrap everything), and to start over with maybe SS2 as it currently has the most support.

The Wiki has a great example for how to install SS2 and its requirements.

IDK about:
dv-deadly vertibirds
dv-no levelled vertibirds

SS2 does touch the vertibirds, so IDK about those mods, I never change/mod the vertibirds

Well, I would certainly rather not restart from scratch over this. I used vanilla SS1 because it was the most basic thing I saw that I thought would make settlement building more tolerable and streamlined, and for the most part it was exactly what I wanted, so I don't think I'll go for SS2 at least any time soon because it seems like it would just complicate the whole settlement process for me in a way I don't really want. I'm much more of a classic quest-oriented rpg player. I've avoided settlements for the most part in all my other playthroughs, and this was the one where I was like "yeah I'm gonna go full settlements and minutemen" and this is what's happened lmao. I wish I had looked more into the issue with scrap everything before starting this current campaign, though it is such a great mod in principle.

Do you have any advice for working on this without having to start all over again? Otherwise, I think I'll just use trial and error to find out what I can and can't build without crashing my game as mercifully, it doesn't happen for every buildable object.
