Please post bugs specific to Rise of the Commonwealth and Covenant in this thread.

This is currently a placeholder thread, as of initial release this settlement is not yet supported.

I set up a city planner bench and set one of my companions as a leader but nothing happened. when I looked to see if there was a city plan it came up with nothing. I have the 3.1.5 version of RotC

I’ve actually had good luck with Covenant, and I’m on Xbox, but...

There are a few spots where things build weird and refreshing city doesn’t fix. One the front porch of the main building things keep being added without removing other things, so there is a power armor station and two chairs and they are all on top of/ inside each other.

At level 3, there is some stuff under the floor of the little add on to that main building on the left side. A table, a chair, and maybe something else I can’t make out.

The city manager desk is in a bathtub and that fixes when upgrading to level 3 but at level 2 refreshing just puts it all back that way.

Try manually reinstalling ROTC...

Hey King the Covenant City Plan messed up my covenant I'm stuck I couldn't even get within 100 plus yard meaning with Build High Settlements Expanded mod installed from taffington house after i cross the street get on the grass if i even go near the hill which i cant see covenant from once i enter zone i have about 2 seconds to get out before ctd same thing when I'm coming from starlight drive in direction before you get to that power pole on the ground where Heather Casdin mod Spawns CTD, coming from broken highway direction were there's a river bank that takes you to Ada first time you meet her game ctd soon as I pass Highway, coming from lexington were you go in the tunnel for human error quest were fisherman is i cant even make it a 3rd of the way across lake CTD so then decided lets uninstall build high expanded that allowed me to now get on the hill i mean exactly on it from taffington house i took 1 more step ctd and tested other location etc a few more feet into settlement zone but CTD it would not have been a problem to go back to an earlier save but this was my Ultimate playthrough Nuclear Option with Minutemen, B.O.S, Railroad, The Danse Dilemma and Institute - Alternate End and Restoration I get to keep everyone alive after Nuclear Option and no one hates me. But problem is Covenant was the 5th Settlement obtained and never went back until I needed to get Piper and Nora for a mission the thing is I was already using your plot and had a Gorgeous Settlement Build there but the very moment you dropped this vid and I caught it 1st Day you uploaded it I sacrifice my self made built to use yours because I wanted all my settlements with a Leader right now as we speak I just made it into the Institute from the Tunnel with the Minutemen I found a way to complete almost every single quest with each faction before Nuclear I even went as far as completing most of the Institute main quest and side quest before becoming enemies with them everything worked out Perfectly I've been on Fallout 4 since its release never beat the game because I mod so much and my load order is perfection I can still continue to complete but will never have access to covenant from this save. I then became so frustrated and just uninstalled your Sim Settlement and everything to do with it then with Transfer Settlement went to each settlement cleaned them up (disabled floating objects) that I could not scrap used remote detonate on Covenant because I was able to enter zone after the Build High CTD before uninstalled everything was going find until the scripts touched Covenant CTD BTW this was before Uninstall and after but I tried both paths now from taffington i can run all the way to covenant walls before CTD at least its progress but is there anything you can do to help me everything was fine up until your {Covenant Sim Settlement} I've read on forums were it says no matter what mod you us covenant has a height limit if you pass it CTD corrupt game save files and your Covenant Plan had put this Huge Sky Scrapper Voodoo Totem Pole I believe that's the source of your Covenant Plan hints to high in Covenant leads to Bugs and errors.

Another thing I forgot to mention I tried to out-smart the game by crafting a scope on my gun getting on top Taffington Roof and point in the direction to were I can see parts of buildings that I crafted from Sim Settlement and used the markfordelete command was going smooth but certain things was just to far so i build a platform on the street in front of Taffington the moment I used my Scope again CTD. Never knew when you use scope the game actually puts you closer to a location. I could look at Covenant till my eyes bleed but if I try zooming with a scope CTD.

Well, none of the named settlers wanna do anything.

Not really an RotC bug, but yeah :D
I have this same issue; I can start bartering with doctor Patricia Montgomery, but there is nothing in my or hers inventory. RotC or me can't assign them either.

EDIT: I just updated to 3.2.1, I hope it helps...

Just put a similar post in the Bunker Hill thread, but nevertheless...

Click on the settlers in question in the console and enter the following commands:

Addkeyword workshopallowcommand
Addkeyword workshopallowmove
setpv bcommandable true
setpv ballowmove true
setpv ballowcaravan true

They'll work like normal settlers now.

I have encountered similar issues on leveling up Covenant and items clipping on top of each other. The first example of this I've screengrabbed is the double door issue on the north-side house (has a terminal, couch and two interior residential plots). This happens when going from Lvl 0 to Lvl 1.

The other issue is similar to the one I have with Outpost Zimonja (posted several minutes ago), in that the merchant markers are either showing up or in this case, disappearing altogether. The Medic marker shows up at Lvl 0 but disappears from then (up to and including Lvl 3) on no matter how many city refreshes or reinstalls of RotC are done.

As I stated on my OZ post, no other settlement (so far, and I've got over half of the ones with cities up to max level) has this issue, such as Abernathy Farm, Finch Farm, Tenpines Bluff, et al.

I absolutely adore walking around these fabulously detailed cities, trying to navigate the almost maze-like design, and I know these are relatively petty/minor gripes, but I figure these still ought to be pointed out.
Covenant is currently the most unusual one so far in terms of bug and spawning items. There are further issues in the higher levels, such as the Mutfruit plants disappearing permanently after refreshing the city, and (as said in a previous post) things such as power armor stations spawning with chairs and the city management desk spawning inside other objects (or even twice). I will include more images from the higher level issues if necessary.

Got some more bugs for Covenant, centering on:

* The neon sign at the entrance is rotate about 90 degrees clockwise

* Upon city refresh, the mutfruit plants, scavenger station and beds (house left of entrance) all disappear
Bug - Covenant - Mutfruit Lvl3.png Bug - Covenant - Mutfruit Lvl3 Refresh.png Bug - Covenant - Mutfruit-Generator Lvl3.png Bug - Covenant - Mutfruit-Generator Lvl3 Refresh.png
* The general trader and medicine trader disappear upon levelling up the city past Lvl0 and never return, regardless of city refresh or city reset
Bug - Covenant - Merchants Lvl 3.png
* Some items from Lvl3 are still present at Lvl2 in the Mayor's house. This mainly revolves around the issue of the power armor stand being present at Lvl1, moved at Lvl2 then back to it's Lvl1 position at Lvl3, as well as the prison room (turned mini-bedroom) changing roles between Lvl1&Lvl3 and Lvl2 (where it's a bathroom and the management desk gets moved)

I'm including some pictures, if more is needed I will supply them however I can.

When the power armor stand first appears, (level 1?) it is inaccessible. Also, when Deacon is the leader, dozens of identical railroad agents all swarm the settlement. The agents seem to calm down in number when the settlement reaches level 1.

I noticed that there are 2 Doors being spawned at the last house on the left side (standing at the entrance):

I noticed after upgrading the city to level 1, but could have been there with level 0 as well. I've refreshed the city and plots but this persists. I have not built anything manually in Covenant, it only contains things build as part of the city plan.

Updated 3 in 1 to 3.4 to see if there was a fix before posting but I’m still having trouble with settlers not building homes etc. would having Coot’s Deezer as leader effect them not building plots? I’ve also rebuilt data, refreshed city, and sent previous settlers away so a whole new crew would come in. That’s the only settlement I have that issue but I still haven’t started bunker hill either. Thanks for any help!

Start a new game or load a vanilla save & see if it every thing works correctly.

I am also getting these errors, plus an unintentional one where refreshing the settlement respawns a cap stash under where one of the beds would be, allowing it to be farmed for infinite money.

Hello all, finally got covenant to level 3 and I have the 90 degree sign problem as well. Refreshed a couple times and still persistes. Anyone figure out a trick to fix it? Thanks!
