I was trying to follow the tutorial that KG put ou and got to the first lesson about reskinning. When I activated the Data tab in CK all I could see was the game and DLC's. How do I see my mods that I have downloaded?

Hi! Do you have Mod Organizer 2 as your mod manager? It keeps the Data folder clean of all mods and adds them to a virtual folder. I do know that some mod authors actually use MO2 (since it's such a good mod manager) but it requires some workarounds.

If you have MO2, have you tried to set up the creation kit as an executable (I couldn't find a good google link but there should be good instructions somewhere ...).

Yes I use MO2. I know Vortex is popular but I found it to be needlessly difficult to use. Thanks for the executable idea. I have had to setup enough of them with skyrim, oblivion, and fallouts 3/nv/4 that i think i can probably do so again.

Excellent! Once you get to the point in the tutorial of making SCOLs (static collections for your buildings), I think they may end up in the Overwrite (or something?) folder in MO2.
