Couldn't tap into municipal plot power

For some reason I cannot use the power generated by the power my municipal plot produce. In the ASAM details it says its producing power but in the settlement building mode it is showing the opposite. Other municipal plots work normally like water plots etc. This problem is only relevant on power plots. Any help or pointers would be really helpful.

Have you built the "Municipal Power Pylon" also under the SS2 menus? That's the object that actually generates the power listed on the asams on power plots.
