I was not too sure if this was the right place too post, I have been testing a few of the original blue prints posted in nexus by other (Onyx Nightshade,Paladin & Jazlin) to see what was needed to get them to work using city planner.
Turns out not a lot, did not need to export the file, copied the file to the online City Plan Creator and converted to an ESP file.
As stated you can then copy this file to your Data folder in Fallout 4, if your using Nexus you will need to created a win zip or rar file for it too work. I moved the plugin above my Transfer Settlements.esp.
I also found its better to nuke everything not just player builds, have a final check, then using city planner pick the design you want 1st, that way the program will ask you to pick a leader.
If you make a mistake and it builds the wrong one(DOH me) just go in city planner and pick he right one and tear down the other. I thought this may help beginners who find it hard to design their own settlements.
