Question Conqueror Menu Appears After Character Creation, But Cities Don't Pre-Generate

I have played with Sim Settlements Conqueror previously, and so I know that after you setup your options in the configuration menu and click "Let's Do This", that a progress bar is supposed to appear in the upper left corner to show the progress of pre-generating cities. However, after I click on "Let's Do This", the progress bar never appears.

I have F4SE and the Mod Configuration Menu installed, and my mod load order is as follows:

HUDFramework.esm
WorkshopFramework.esm
SimSettlements.esm (3in1)
SimSettlements_XPAC_Conqueror

I have tried both with and without HUDFramework to no success, and have reinstalled all of the mods I've listed more than once, including manually, to see if this was the issue. Still nothing.

I should also note that the Nuka World patch always causes infinite loading on new games, and since it seems optional, I've never tried to play with it.

I'm not really sure what to do at this point. I can provide a save file if necessary after character creation if it will help.

Thank you all in advance.

The " I click on "Let's Do This", the progress bar never appears."

The option to see the bar now has to be selected in that same process sequence.

I know I had to select it for it to show up.

IDK, did you turn it off accidentally?
Maybe check in-game a screenshot of this would be good.

Hello, RayBo, and thank you for the assistance. When I checked on the progress notifications menu after starting a new game, it showed the options as being the same as the ones in the default screenshot. Unfortunately though, after switching all of the options to "ON," going back and then clicking "Let's Do This," the game still does not give me any sort of notifications, nor a progress bar in the upper-left hand corner. All that happens is I get the second prompt asking about my graphics settings a few seconds after hitting "Let's Do This," and then... Nothing.

That is very odd, but specific.

I would make sure to run it with just SS and SS related “supporting” mods.

a screenshot would not hurt and post your load order after the next try.

except for the above, check for other UI mods in the mods tab, non-plug type of mods which might be conflicting and make sure they are disabled also.

Being it is so specific it really sounds like something like that?
Otherwise I might have seen it or it would be being reported in-mass?

I have finally, after much troubleshooting, discovered what the issue was!

In my .ini, I had the compass disabled by default, since I tend to mod my game experience to play out a bit more "hardcore." As it turns out though, the conqueror progress bar appears to be tied to the compass, and so disabling the compass seems to disable the appearance of the progress bar.

This might be something important to note somewhere in the documentation just in case anyone else experiences similar issues to save them some hassle, as it took me way, way too long to finally figure this all out.
