Question Compatibility issues with UFO4P

Settlements don't get recognized by WS+ when UFO4P is in the mod list. I made sure that WS+ and all the dependencies are loaded after UFO4P.

This might be a good thing to look into since a lot of people use the Unofficial Fallout 4 Patch.

For contrast, I've had UFO4P and WS+ in my load orders for years (including a couple of Wabbajack lists) and never had conflicts with either. But, I'm still using OG 163 version. Are you using the NG version maybe?

I'm on NG yeah. I've had it work on another character and mod setup before NG came out so it's probably related somehow.
 
I would have to guess that there is some kind of conflict in your modlist. I'm not saying impossible that there is an issue, but if there was an issue with the 2 most popular settlements in the game we would be flooded by comments about it. Like I said, I'm not discounting that there may be an issue, but I would be interested to hear what happens after some further testing.
 
I was able to replicate the bug on a clean NG mod install using only F4SE, MCM, AL, HUDF, WSF and WS+.
It stops working when I restart the game with UFO4P enabled.

Do you have a save like that? And can you upload it here? You may have to use 7z or winrar to compress it. And the F4SE co-save as well please.
 
Also, what is AL in your list?
I assume Address Library.

This isn't an error I can reproduce on the SS2CPC Helper (OG binaries + NG Data + UFO4P + WSFW + WS+)
I will note that we are still on MCM 1.39, and also have Buffout 4 NG, Mentats, X-Cell and other engine based fixes installed.

I wonder if UFO4P is overwriting WSFW. This can happen if the load order isn't sorted correctly, and that would break settlements.
 
Yeah I meant Address Library with AL.

I ended up doing another test where I started from the beginning of the game and now it works. Using the same mod load order and mods enabled. Only difference now is my game ini files are standard so I guess it must've been some weird settings I had.

The other saves I had that wasn't working now works in this new setup I did too so idk how useful that'd be.

This might've been skill issue on my part somewhere but in case it wasn't I'm sharing the ini's that were causing me issues.

Its never a waste of time. There is always the chance that something like this happens to someone else in the future. If they search the forums, they will see how you worked through things and found a solution.

I'm happy it working for you now!
