Question Companion Stops Following

Let me start by saying that I'm not really sure it's a WS+ problem, but I'm asking anyway in case this has been seen by someone else.

I was in Vault 88 building a settlement for a few hours. When I decided to go out and quest a little, my companion wasn't with me. I went back in the Vault and he was there, immobile. I tried switching companion, but that new companion would stop moving and the old was was resuming it's default business. I had to revert to an earlier saved game to have them mobile again. That saved game was still within the time frame of my building of Vault 88, so my main action was doing workshop stuff.

My guess is that that i'm still "invisible" (from the the WS+ option). Is there a way (maybe a console command) to reset my invisibility, to test that theory?

I had an other weird problem that may be related to the use of the special options of WS+. Still within Vault 88, while I was exploring it, that are a few time that you must switch on and off the workshop mode to clear out paths and than kill ennemies. While in workshop, I was flying and 100% speed boost. After I finished exploring, I realized something; my walking speed was cut in half while I had my weapon ready (not when it was holstered). My guess is that the speed boost, plus the combat situation, plus the switch on and off of the workshop mode while my weapon was still ready may have messed up my default speed. That time too I had to revert to an old save. I then disabled all the WS+ options until I was finished exploring.

Again, I'm not sure it's WS+ at the source of the problem. I have many more mods installed.

So, anyone has encountered something similar? Anybody has an idea how to test my companion visibility hypothesis?

Thanks

Try going into workshop mode, waiting about 30 seconds, then exiting workshop mode.

I’ve seen this kind of thing happening with a high script-load. In my case it left me stuck in invulnerability mode.

My current has a high script-load. It's a Conqueror game with most settlements pre-conquered. I have Baka ScrapHeap installed to help with the script-load.

I tried your trick but sadly it didn't fix the problem. I did notice something however: When i'm in workshop mode, my companion is sandboxing. When I exist workshop mode, he stops sandboxing.

I think I will just revert to an old save, but I worry about the next time this may happen.

Thanks for the suggestion.

Edit : I just found out that I can command my companion to "go there". So he can move to somewhere, but can't follow me.
