Colored wood?

Why is some wood colored pink, purple, or yellow? I thought it was a bug and have been ignoring it, but in kinggath's latest video, you can see some pink wood right in the middle of almost the entire video, so I figured it was time to ask: what's up with that?

I can see it being a lighting issue, but there's no light of that color being generated right there. There is light of that color being generated elsewhere in the settlement.

Or is it as simple as, the settlers just wanted to paint the wood that color?

There are colored wood build pieces in the Wasteland Reconstruction Kit
This is what I used to match up my my oberland station build so it all looks like it belongs. Wrk is almost an all inclusive workshop items mod the only other thing I really use is CVC for some items that wrk don’t do and between the two I have almost everything I could ever want. About the only thing those mods don’t cover is water but the pool mod takes care of that if needed.

I'm a bit late but these are probably "building skins." You can find and change them under the "Customize Plot" option in the ASAM menu for each plot.
Yeah the one in that video (most recent 'patch notes' vid kinggath posted to youtube) is a house using a 'Skin' like that. Quite a few of the Residential (and Commercial too, I think) plots in the core of the mod have 'skin' options that are just recolours like that.
