Clarification and 1 issue.

I know I'm posting a ton, and I do appreciate the assistance.

1. 15 settlers = 1 leader +14 settlers?

2. One pop-up from 'check my settlement' stated: Beds Found: 0, Residential: 15, Work Found: 0, Job Plots found: 13. "beds" would be generic vanilla beds that any settler could sleep in? Don't know what 'work' means? Then another pop-up stated I had 2 too many beds, however, I removed a job plot and I'm about to reassign beds and plots anyway, but its weird that I have 15 settlers and 15 beds for them, but have 2 too many. Does it have to do with the plots also?

3. NAVMESH: I understand it's purpose though I've never used them before until now. The settlers and visitors are doing the typical "walking into walls, fences and barriers". Now I know I can't just lay them everywhere, so I placed about a half dozen in areas I thought needed them. I placed them so they are just under the surface of the actual asset its on, not having used them before I'm guessing that's how they work. More clarification on proper usage would help. I also noticed there are areas that NPCs hardly ever walks thru, maybe once in a blue moon, any way to increase traffic in those areas.

4. "Check My Settlement" This also mentioned I was over on food and water. Is it safe to assume that this isn't a deal breaker in the course of the contest? They are not over by much, I think 5 and 4 respectively. It also mentions being over on power, but it's a pain to calculate exactly how much, again it's not by a huge margin.

5. My settlement will require anyone who uses it to scrap most everything not nailed down or is there some other process that could do that? I have a feeling if things are not scrapped and this is loaded, it's going to be an absolute train wreck. Also, there were a few things I did not scrap, so if those are left by a player and load this CP, there will be double of that item scattered about. For instance, the Nuka machine, I didn't scrap it, just moved it, but if you load this CP there is another Nuka in it's original place....

(I do have a player bed and a generic house set up)

Issue: Freeze on exit. It's pretty much every time now with occasional freeze on a save and the random CTD.

1) yes leader would be counted as settler.

2)Beds are what u can add instead of plots and will count. Work is stuff like Vanilla scavenger stations and other vanilla items that get assigned.
Don't forget the city planners desk counts as a job and u need that desk in your CP.

3) Navblocks should be used in areas that settlers have trouble getting to . Like a ramp they don't want to walk up or raised up walkways. To test just order your settler to where u want them and if they cant get there try using navblock.
Settler nav can be blah so they may never go to places even when the nav is ok.

4) High food and water is fine but you may need to increase defense. Abernathy has high food and Red rocket has none.

5) when its time to make a CP you will need to make a scrap profile, this is explained in the city planners toolkit and isn't hard to do:) https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/30168 and https://www.simsettlements.com/site...asing-your-city-plan-the-short-tutorial.7445/

Issue: possible your save may be borked, wasn't u having problems with it before?
maybe try some of these https://simsettlements.com/web/wiki/index.php?title=Performance

Exactly correct. Also note that the City Planner's Desk used by the Leader counts as their Job.

Agreed, especially since on Xbox One I think they can't globally disable all attacks. It might get annoying if Defense is insufficient & settlement attacks are really frequent. I can find it annoying sometimes though I've been using a mod that turns attacks off for a while now.

Hypothetically if it would be short on Food/Water is that bad? On my game I typically don't worry about it because I just rough estimate how many I need of stuff plus there's supply lines that can make up the difference.

Personally I disregarded being over on Food/Water/Power since plot usage will vary. I use all addons, many of them giving more than usual for these. I liked the water recycler, it produces quite a bit of water & the Agricultural plots I had produce more food. I think one of them at L4 produced like 30 food?

5: The Town Gavel uses the same scrap profile as the City Plan baseline.
So.. you can quickly test if you need to make a scrap baseline by just running the Town Gavel Scrap this settlement, then importing your blueprint.

Really interesting, so that is how Town Gavel works!

Yes. We loaded up the game with only SS and Transfer Settlement.. and vanilla scrapped airything.
It sucked...a LOT! hehehe
But... the result is pretty kool, because the only things that are scrapped/stored, are vanilla scrappable items.
And just so you know... no precombines were broken in the process. Molerats, bloatflies, ghouls, super mutants.. well... maybe a few! LOL

Thank you for your input, I may not get back to this for a few days though.

However, 'commanding settlers' does pretty much nothing, they don't go where I tell them, they will move when I assign them to a plot, but to command them to 'go' to a spot, they just stand there.
