Hi, I'm on the "How to HQ" quest and when I have to meet the staff, Lupe talks and then nothing.
What should I do? Thanks for your answer

Have the same issue and multiple people seem to do so too, created a thread in questions & help. Here: https://simsettlements.com/site/index.php?threads/stuck-conversation-during-how-to-hq.20211/Hi, I'm on the "How to HQ" quest and when I have to meet the staff, Lupe talks and then nothing.

yes same here on the updating ss2 chapter one and workshop framework, just on xbox! I couldn't fit chapter 2 in my load order anyway unfortunately with xbox size limitations. thanks for bringing this up—i dont know why i didnt consider the workshop framework update also causing issueRegarding long save times..I upgraded all the required files but haven’t downloaded ss2 chapter2 yet.
I wanted to see how stable my game was before doing so.
my saves usually are instant to a 30 seconds. Now they are taking several minutes even in home plate.
so, the problem for me must be in the new version of workshop framework or ss2 chapter one.
‘Playing on a pc with save games to a ssd partition with lot’s of space.
I've been having this same problem.Autosaving is taking either 1 to 2 min or instead freezing all together on xbox. This is my mods list. Thanks
I think I got the same problem. Can't reload with F5= CTD. Can't open FO4 and load the last save or any saved with Chapter 2 installed= CTD.Something else I've found (pre-Chapter 2):
Did you save and exit? Ready to play again now? Do you get a crash as soon as your latest save file loads? Bring up a slightly older save file and load that. If it loads successfully, wait a moment and then load the desired save file.
No idea why, but it's helped me load saves that I couldn't load directly from the main menu. Having a recent save in a small cell like Home Plate helps, like described above.
This is a fairly common Creation Engine problem - you can't always install new mods or update mods on an existing game. The state of the save can end up in such a way that adding/changing things makes it unstable.hi I'm having the same problem when I start to load with ch2 installed it crashes the game, if I start a new game with it installed it works fine but when I re-enter that save it CTD.
Many folks have said going to Home Base, saving / loading there helps alot. This is a fairly common Creation Engine problem - you can't always install new mods or update mods on an existing game. The state of the save can end up in such a way that adding/changing things makes it unstable.
Sometimes, if you play for a while, and save somewhere different - such as in an interior cell or a city like DC or GN, then try the install/update again and it might work that time as your save file will be in a different state.
Are you see if you got SS2 (ch1) and Workshop Frame updated? That was my problem with the CTDshi I'm having the same problem when I start to load with ch2 installed it crashes the game, if I start a new game with it installed it works fine but when I re-enter that save it CTD.
I have the same problem: when chap 2 is "enabled" in Vortex, any saved games (manual or quicksave) cause CTD. I tried creating a new game from scratch but I get the same CTD when I die to the Raiders who kidnap your settlers in the story line of Chap 1. When I disable Chap 2 everything runs fine. Are you see if you got SS2 (ch1) and Workshop Frame updated? That was my problem with the CTDs
I did update ch1, WFW and the hotfix for ch2 i got the new file working till I left the game and when I came back CTD happened againAre you see if you got SS2 (ch1) and Workshop Frame updated? That was my problem with the CTDs
Have you try manual installation? Sometimes the mod managers don't do it right...I did update ch1, WFW and the hotfix for ch2 i got the new file working till I left the game and when I came back CTD happened again
In my case I reinstall with NMM and that fix my problem.Have you try manual installation? Sometimes the mod managers don't do it right...
I have my pc game through Steam, is there a way to load it separately without buying it again? Or a best way to edit files with steam if needed? In my case I reinstall with NMM and that fix my problem.
I dunno how to do that. For "reinstall" I mean reinstall the mod, not the game itself.I have my pc game through Steam, is there a way to load it separately without buying it again? Or a best way to edit files with steam if needed?
