Question Cant use vanilla farming and stores?

I am currently playing the conqueror questline or well trying to (iv had to restart due to bugs alot) and have found that having too mqny settlements ueeing plots makes my game break due to my computer not being great and sim settlments being script heavy so i decided to use vanilla shops and farms so i at least can pay and feed my troops however from the looks of my supply bars on the hud that doesn't work is this how it is supposed to be or is this a bug and if not could there possibly be a patch out therr or made so normal shops and plants from the fallout four base game can be used in place of plots?

Not sure about the conqueror resource requirements, but with SS, you can use normal farming and shops to feed your city.

I don't play conqueror so you will have to see if someone else has answer for that, but I always build my cities light on SS and use vanilla as well because of the scripts.
