Question Brutus Introduction Dialogue Loop

I had just been introduced to Brutus for the first time but dismissed him for now, until I could find a settlement for him to command. However when I left the dialogue, he directly and instantly repeated the same dialogue and no matter how hard I try he always repeats it even when I walk away. He also seems to force you into the dialogue whenever you get in the vacinity of him.

I'm on version 4.1.7, without the recent hotfix.

He'll do the same even if you have him leading an Outpost or a Vassal as well. Makes him impossible to trade with if I recall.

Same issue. He was driving me nanners. I sent him to be the commander of my Sunshine Tidings outpost because I never go there. Problem solved.
