Broke the Ron and magic building materials

So the Ron only has 200 caps and has nothing in his inventory to barter. Also I can somehow still upgrade my plots even with not enough resources, help would be very much appreciated. Thank you. I only have the first chapter of SS2 downloaded btw, not sure if this is something fixed in later chapters.
