Brotherhood acquisition and implementation daily journal, Journeymen Scribe in charge.

Well, today was another day of ugh too many I am not a people person and they put me in charge. Proctor Quinlan must have a sense of humour after all.

Ok, it has taken months to get this dump producing anything worth the effort put in. Finally, these settlers are giving me results. This is why we should have just turned this place into an armed barracks but oh no my idea was shot down in the planning meeting. I digress We now have enough food and water and the settlers after countless complaints now have some turrets and a guard station or two like who in their right mind would attack us here, we are under the Prydwen.

We are now taking the scrap that is marked for retrieval or delivered to us and breaking it down for further use. I am happy to say that things on that front, are going well. It is messy work but the work is important nonetheless. Last months quoter of coolant was delivered promptly to Proctor Ingram. As per her requests, we are buying all we come across at a higher price. Work is ongoing to find a replacement we can produce. Will provide updates on that as needed.

As per Proctor Teagan instruction, all work on weapons and armour are to be handled by brotherhood scribes and not by the settlers here. So all weapons and armour are pulled aside and set back to him.

On a side note, the idea of putting a scrap store was a genius have to thank Teagan for that. So far this month we have purchased some rather interesting tech and useful scrap for caps with no downside. The more cleaver people of the commonwealth are starting to understand this and are doing a lot of leg work.

Please see attached pictures of the worksite, once again I am asking for a transfer back to research and development.

Overheard conversation Boss and someone called Teagan

Yes, the ammunition plant is up and running.
No, I do not have the means to make fusion cores or fusion cells are you mad. That is not something I and a handful of setters on a shoestring budget could obtain, you will have to stick to scaving them like the rest of us.
Yes, YES... NO, I will not give you our excess food we are using that to trade for scrap.

Report me I do not care. *noise of phone slamming on a table*

the call ends for the first time in well forver the boss comes over to the bar and grabs a bottle of rum and storms back to his desk, yikes.

Nice and scrappy, the way I likes it.
One issue though, you have too many settlers, 15 is the max you can have.
you are right I have a settlement that can hold 21 as I was working on charisma 10+10+1.

Journeymen Scribe personal journal.

You would think that the higher-ups would want to fully use this area but no they are telling me to not expand past 11 workers. 11, that is bearly enough to well do anything.

This must be such a joke to Proctor Quinlan watching me squirm down here in the mud and piss.

*cough* cough* Where do you want these reports?
Yes please place them on the desk will you, I will have to look them over.

End journal entry.

Ah for sure easy to do it since you're so used to working to those numbers.
21 settlers is a potential 42 plots which can be to much of an ask for lots of people, especially xbox players.

I have been given the go-ahead to expand to no more than 15, I can't say I am impressed at this.

I will look at adding to the bunkhouse in the coming week, now to look at getting the material needed to finally put down a proper fence.

Have a look over the special requirements here https://www.simsettlements.com/site/index.php?threads/season-2-october-2019-specifics.11278/
It will tell you exactly what you need.

Journeymen Scribe personal journal.

A caravan came in today had a lot of useful scrap and a few weapons, that was the good news, the bad news is they also wanted to settle here I had to turn them away, all 6 of them.

I will request a Vertibird do a recon of the area just to make sure they are not staying around and if so well not my department. But could mean more scrap.

*noise of a phone being picked up*
This is Journeymen Scribe, station acquisition and implementation, yes it is me.
Let Paladin Brandis know I have a job for him.
Yes I know he has just returned but this will be a simple sweep and clear.

I'm curious about something...
I've been having issues, as has others, on wonky build limit reporting.
Its happening to me at the Boston Airport as well. My build bar was draining as I build and I kept having to use recalculate usage to correct it multiple times.
anywho...
After my last recalculate usage I am maxed out and cannot build.
Running the Getav console commands I saw that i was 340000/800000 Triangles and 1081/800 Draws. The Draws being what pushed me over.
Anywho...
Can you run gatav 348, getav 349, getav 34a, and getav 34b, and let me know the numbers it gives you?
Make sure you select the workbench before running the commands.
Your settlement looks to have about twice as much mine does.

*Noise of keystrokes*

Run the following.
gatav 348, getav 349, getav 34a, and getav 34b,

Humm Current triangles 273933.00 max is 625000.00.

Ah Current draws 445.00 max is 625.00

This might do.
Oh silly me forgot to stop the recording.

Spend all of last night working on a design I was happy with and totally forgot to follow the instruction by Proctor Quinlan and Proctor Ingram. Will have to reset and clear.

But first I need some sleep.

Damn man, sorry to hear that.
Vanilla for BA is 400 Draws so your draw max should be at 800.
Ya I stripped my down and restarted as well

Right so I had to rip down and rebuild a few times and I am now well within the build limit. Hum, I have some tinkering about to do here. I have a few areas I need to cut back on and a few that need more things. Will this even work?

20191010230256_1.jpg
The idea here is to hug the pre standing airport building as much as I can, why must all my building materials be so ugly.

20191010230209_1.jpg
Might look to expand up here if I can get the green light from Proctor Ingram.

20191010230237_1.jpg
Clearing this will be a pain in my ass.

20191010230306_1.jpg

Ok, better send this up to Proctor Quinlan for approval.

Disappointment my plans for expansion have been shot down the original design is what they will use and go with. The higherups are not willing to grant me the ability to expand well beyond 1400.

Still getting the hang of the workshop.

It is survivable but so limited.

You need to run Recalculate Usage frequently and it will correct your build limit.
I set by build limit up a little higher to 1000, I'm a little over 900 on my final build.
I'm only using 5 plots myself as they tend to weigh heavy on my build limit.
