Question Auto Change Layer with just the default layer = very bad

I wasn't actually doing anything with layers and was just trying out some building kits and my active scripts grew to over 1000. What I was doing was working with just the default layer and with the "Auto Change Layers" option set to on "On". I selected a group of 200+ objects and the game then spawned this for each object moved:

workshopplus:layermanager -> .::remote_ObjectReference_OnWorkshopObjectMoved() -> AddItemToLayer_Lock() -> GetLock() -> utility.WaitMenuMode()

I didn't notice at first because I wasn't doing anything with layers but I did occasionally hear the "twang" noise from the WS+ layer manager. These threads never resolve but they may terminate. I went back to an earlier save until I figured out the issue and disabled "Auto Change Layers". Once I did that I didn't get thread spam anymore.

I was group selecting by holding the selection button on part of a structure.

I also had these option values:
Auto Unhide: Off
Clear Highlighting: Off
Flash Items: On
Highlight Items When Handle Held: On

Can anyone else reproduce this? Once it starts I had to do a clean install of WS+.

Argh I really have been bad about keeping an eye in here! I will start a fresh game tonight and see what happens.

I've attempted to replicate this with no success. Do you still have it happening?

I the following mods installed:

MCM
Place Everywhere
Workshop Framework
Workshop Plus
Raze My Settlement ('cause I'm too lazy to scrap Sanctuary manually)

I built this "patented inverse ziggurat™":

Grabbed it a few times and shifted it around, then closed and opened the game in ReSaver - 0 active scripts:

So I guess a question is - does it happen with a fresh game for you? Or does it develop over time?
