I got a couple of settlements, attempted to assign leaders but they wouldn't take. I learned through trying to find an answer for this that this is likely due to the heavy scripts and I just had to up the backlogs, but I thought "it'll assign eventually" and just went about my business. About an hour and a half later I'm taking equipping some provisioners with way more equipment than they need and I get two notifications that the leaders had been assigned (for what it's worth they are Supervisor White at Graygarden and Duke Somerville at Somverville Place. I have a mod that adds in leaders.) I think "great! lets go demolish the old and set the auto build to start on the new settlement" but that's where the issue is. I got the leader popup, but normally there's a second pop up that asks if i'd like to demolish the settlement and then it starts the auto build. I never got that second popup for either settlement. Since then I have spend hours trying to google the problem, find any kind of forum post referencing anything tangential to it. I have increased my multi threading, I have unassigned/reassigned, I have moved people around, I have assigned new leaders and just nothing. There doesn't appear to be an option to start this manually, I have run through all the settlement tools in the holotape.
I am at an absolute complete loss. I have no idea what I could do to fix this other than going back to a MUCH older save to before I ever even tried to assign them and losing multiple hours of progress. If anyone has any insight to share, or something I may have missed, I am all ears. I don't know how to export my mod list so I just took a pic of my mods in Vortex.
