ASAM and pirates!

I could not remember what ASAM stood for, so I started to Google. Didn’t find my answer but was surprised that it is an acronym used in the real world, by many entities.

Anti-shipping Activity Messages (ASAM)- Specific hostile acts against ships. Pirates!
Association for Standardization of Automation and Measuring Systems (ASAM)- Auto industry
Adaptive Safety Analysis and Monitoring (ASAM) system- Software tool

Does anyone know what ASAM stands for in SS2? Google has failed me. It is driving me nuts, like a song that is stuck in my head!

If you find one of the ASAM posters in the world (such as the one in Daisy's shop in Goodneighbor) it says it at the bottom. I don't recall it right now and am not in a place to log in and grab a screenshot.

Also, Fallout76 also has an ASAM item: Automated Surface-to-Air Missile

Thanks. Funny I have never noticed this poster. Probably because I have SS2 on its lowest settings. More likely that my 'attention to detail' is nonexistent.

It is funny to think that these are all real things. I wonder if they knew this when they came up with the name for SS2.
