Hi! I'm having so much fun creating this Add-On pack! Of course, questions are coming up. May I please have an invite to the Add-On Maker's Discord? Thanks in advance!

Update: Just hoping an admin will see this as it's been over a week.

If you are looking for somewhere to hangout while you work on Add-On packs, we have a Discord server set up!

It's a great spot to get help, share your progress, and talk about ideas.

Please reply to this thread to request an invite, and someone will PM you a link ASAP.

The Add-on Maker's Toolkit for SS2 is now available! https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/48521/
I would like to receive an invitation

Having some trouble getting the stranger to show up to my settlement, I ran into him outside of my settlement and he wouldnt interact with me. Any chance I could ask this question on the discord?

Hello! I've been watching kinggaths Bethesda Mod School series. Its helped me a lot. Currently working on a couple of my own mods. In one of the Mod School videos kinggath mentioned a Discord server where we could ask question about modding. I'm hoping to get an invite to this Discord. Thanks!

Hello, just registered. Introduced my son to Fallout 4 a couple years back when he was 5 or 6 using the Virtual Reality Chair from the Creations section. A great way for him to goof off and keep the less age appropriate elements completely away from him lol Now he is 8 and I am letting him continue his efforts of creating settlements with power and everything else in the actual game (though, I don't let him travel outside the settlements and I clear settlements for him so he doesn't see or interact with the enemies).

We just started messing around with Sim Settlements over the last month and this past week we discovered the superstructures mod. The mall absolutely amazed us, however, it was a bit featureless inside so he wanted me to make one where the inside would actually be useful. Because, yes...8 year olds think their dads can do ANYTHING. No, I can't. LOL But I can learn so I am looking up tutorials to create new buildings for SS2 now.

Long story short, I and my 8 year old would love for me to have access to the discord just in case I run into any issues.

As a side note for any parents out there, this game is an awesome way to teach kids about how power works in a city. That is what I originally used it for a couple years back. We drove around pointing out electric poles and following power lines, then I let him goof off in the Creations VR World chair thing as I explained how generators work, how electricity travels through power lines and conduits, etcetera. Then we drove around the city and I let him lecture me on how the power was able to travel along the power lines between our house and various other locations within the city. He was absolutely amazed and it was great to see him understand something on a level that virtually no kid his age actually does. He tries to explain it to other kids his age sometimes and they just give him these confused looks and can't comprehend it...lol

I had this issue as well. The discord is for modding if I understand correctly, not gameplay support. But, I can tell you how I fixed it. I had to identify the mod that was bugging it out. For me, it was the Creations Mod "Tunnel Snakes". Just removing its files from the data folder has fixed a ton of other issues I was having as well.

My best advice, when using SS2, try to use as few non-SS2 Mods as possible. Otherwise you may find that some mods don't work well with it and can break essential quetlines like Jake's.
