In a effort to try and get more feedback (Positive or Negative) I am going to start posting settlement builds that I work on on these forums on a more regular basis. I think I finally reached a point with this Abernathy Farm build that I can work on the deconstruction process soon and convert it into a city plan. This one contains no custom arranged shops or anything and is simply plots and markers. It's close to my Somersville Place build in concept so feel free to praise it or destroy it at a molecular level, although I hope you get enjoyment out of it rather then the prior.

I need to do more play testing on it but I added about 2 stories worth of pathable walkways up the electrical tower and sectioned off the settlement into 2 sections. Lower half is mostly residential with a molerat farm plot that has radstags and brahmin. Couldn't Really find a way to make Clarabelle move anywhere else so for now I resigned to making a open enclosure for her at the main gate where she normally is anyways. The view at the the top of the tower is pretty nice and the towers visibility is especially apparent during night time.20191031183451_1.jpg 20191031183441_1.jpg 20191031183429_1.jpg 20191031183406_1.jpg 20191031183336_1.jpg 20191031183308_1.jpg

I really do hope that you do use this Settlement Showcase thread. :clap
:blush
Maybe it will encourage folks to start sharing their creativity here again. Noob or Pro, city plans, manual builds, or combos. :moil

I really miss seeing all the stuff folks do. I don’t think I have ever seen a user who had an inspired settlement build, manual or CP where I didn’t see something in their build, that didn’t inspire something in my own game. :yess

My other thought for newer users is to use the 2x2 foundations - and using any workshop items or mods make your own prototype plots. Not so much as suggestions but as an outlet for their creativity as they may not yet have the skills, gaming system, or tools for; but, still have the vision. :spiteful

If they are lucky maybe an author would be inspired by it? If not, they have left a prototype of their creativity for themselves or others for future reference.

Same for Manual built settlements.

One might think I just come here to read all the problems folks are having. :scratchhead Nope! Hahaha, hahaha. I have always enjoyed the forums the most when I can see :umnik2 what folks are doing with this mod and their own creativity. :this
I like pictures. :good

All I have to say, @ShagomyJago “dominate this thread” :declare it is a wide open playground! :pardon :search
I really enjoy seeing what you and other folks build. :yahoo

It is all good.

Thank you for Sharing!
