A small amusing story

I worked my way up some levels to have all the perks that might be used in conversation so when Paul ran up yelling how raiders kidnapped my settlers I was thinking 'Oh yea I got this'

One of the settlers was MacCready and I only got a line of dialog in when He seemed to have enough of this - he stood up and knocked down the raider by him then started blasting away. I was slow on the draw and I think in the end he killed 2-3 more than I did.

Not sure why it happened - but the fact its MacCready just seemed too perfect :)

Out of curiousity, what are the perks for that conversation? I've come across Action Boy/Girl but I assumed that was the only one.

Im not entirely sure. I think Actiopn boy/girl is it - I went down the list the writer gave and put a point into everything - even ones I would normally avoid like ghoul or cannibal :)

Jake has multiple dialog lines that change and/or only trigger based on your overall progress in the base game 'main quest' too. For example, very early in the questline when he asks you why you want to build settlements, one of the options changes depending on whether or not you've already "found Shaun".
