A Request for help/input on mods

Hi all,
So... I have had a really bad run lately of playing Fallout 4. Over the past few months I have had 6 abandoned saves due to various issues, ranging from crashing on save after about 20 hours of game play, to stuck quest lines and frequent crashes. My latest play through was going well, minimal issues (no more than I had in my first vanilla play through). However, I started with issues with SS2 quests not advancing/starting and radio stations not working. End of the beginning being the latest not to start at all.

My latest play through had to have been the smoothest run up until SS2 issues. I have trimmed a few more mods out of my load order, in the hope that it may help, but...

So before I attempt another go at the game (possibly my last for a while)

If any kind person has the time or inclination, and can/is willing to offer any advice or insight to mods which may cause issues my my load order is below, (it's not yet entirely optimised but it is close to my last play through).

Yes there are a lot of mods:pardon, FallUI and sorting (no quest tags), Buffout 4 are also installed. My last save ran with minimal issues with these mods until around 120+ hours. I should probably add that I like to take it slow in game and build a lot myself, I generally avoid going more than twice the build limit. So often quest are left hanging for a while whilst I am tending to Preston's demands, Mamma Murphy's habbit or taking Dogmeat for a walk, oh and building stuff)

Any constructive input or advice is welcomed and thank you in advance and for taking the time to read this.

Personally I see nothing wrong with your load order. No massive red flags that stand out, anyway. Could be some obscure mod that seems completely unrelated but...
You could try loading a save that doesn't have War is good for business complete then use the holotape to force complete to start of End of the Beginning. Console commands usually don't work in this case.
A common boogieman to blame in a lot of cases is script lag, have you noticed any of it? using vit-o-matic on a settler should have some indication, if it takes more than a second or 2. The "solution" to stand in an empty room for a while doesn't always work but still.
What's your SS2 version? If it's not up to date, you can always try and update it, along with chapter 2 file and workshop framework. Current version has some issues that are waiting to get resolved but that might help.

No major script lag, vit-o-matic works within 1-2 seconds with rare exceptions. I usually head to the basement at sanctuary or the one north of county crossing and wait and save for the end of each game session.

All mods up to date with the exception of recruitable settlers (I use the non nuka world version)
Trying to advance the quest with the holotape only works if I try on a save before the start of chapter 2.
 
You know, I had "MMP4APA" (Minutemen Paint for All Power Armors) on my "be wary of this mod" list I personally keep to reference for problems, but it's been there since like a week after SS2 first launched, and at the time I wasn't documenting why they were on there. It's probably fine, I just wish I could remember what made me wary of it in the first place.

I don't see anything else that should be causing any significant problems. It may just be some Just Bethesda Things(tm) of the game gradually collapsing in on itself the longer you play any one save - I frequently find similar issues start happening once a save passes 24 Hours Played myself.

This is "CleanMySettlement.esm" so it is likely the REDUX, the original is an esp unless you reflag it.


If it is the REDUX, then note Whispers note:
LOADORDER NOTE
Put this mod at the very top of your loadorder (before UFO4P, etc) - you want everything else to overwrite this!

If it is this one? I relize it is likely not the orginal but......I say some of this as insiders would reflag the original to an .esm when we used it.

As-is, the CleanMySettlement.esm mod needs to be above the Fo4UP if it is the REDUX.

All that said, your loadorder is so big that casual glances at it are not likely sufficient.
I suggest you get Fo4Edit & watch a few videos in how to use it to check for conflicts and look at it that way if you continue to have issues.

Thanks for your response. I can't say I have ever noticed issues with Minutemen Paint for All Power Armors, I have had it in my load order for years, but, will keep an eye on that one.
