I got to make the layout work with the builder with no issues. Interesting that you get to allow adding the layout buildings, while still keeping the previous ones. Although I thought would be best to ask to scrap everything before buiding. Only had a minor issue, with 2 ofthe same 1x1...
I not against Freedom Fighters, I just didn't want them on that 1st outpost. I was looking for a way to remove them from the game, and hire new ones if I so desire.
ETM became an outpost without my choice, because was conquered by Gunners while I was doing the quest to build the first military...
1st let me tell my story, you can skip it. ;)
Now for my actual doubts:
1 - How can I get rid of the Freedom Fighters? I turned off the auto hire, what seem that make a bunch of them leave, but my 1st outpost still have only them. I can't kill them, only send them to another outpost, and that...
For quite some time I try to change that top area to a Classy Staff Lounge, but even though the window show all green at the cost (60 Facilities Energy, 500 Scrap, 500 Caps, 20 Administration Energy), I still get the same window saying that there is not enough resources or staff. And there are...
This is another issue that I'm having, and I can't find a way to fix it. The tools like the Town Meeting Gavel of the City Manager Tools is disppearing, like being consumed, but don't trigger the scripts for the menus.
I tried to save, load, leave the game, moving to another settlement, I made 4...
I wasn't even expecting this much settlers. Only Abernathy Farm had an antenna, because I used a plan, and even though, I remember turning it off by around 15. Both settlerments were using the Communications lot, and after some time I decide to visit it, to find out there was that much + unique...
Sanctuary that was just fine and unchanged for quite some time is now is crashing if I stay inside it, after around 1 minute mark.
I searched about it, I tried some solutions with no results.
I used MCM to remotelly and at the outskirts of Sanctuary, destroy the power grids or repair it. I used...
Hope I'm not jinxing myself, and not being racist, but the blue men had to go.
Refreshed about 6 settlements, moved back and forth, did this and that, till now no supply route got brokened.
I imagine that just a few of them were to blame, but everyone had to pay the price.
Don't get me wrong, If was building myself each settlement, I would give IDEK a try. My complain is with the pure use of RotC as an automatic settlement building and managent.
I know that I'm very late with this rant/suggestion thread. I please don't take this as hate.
I usually like to build all my settlements, but this time I want to do something different. Focus in making a Botherhood character and have minimal interation with settlement building and management...
Going to try the blue man suggestion. I just had Sanctuary and Manor loosing the supply route again, and I didn't even did a refresh. I was just reassigning Hangman and while checking if was OK, bam!
Like I said, I didn't want to use IDEK cause I want to do a playthrough with less settlement...
OK, now here a beef that I have of RotC official city plans, that I think is messing with the supply routes, because of the auto-assign option. The city plan is not taking in consideration the max number of settlers with availiable jobs. I just spawned one settler using Cheat Terminal and after...
I don't want to use IDEK.
I already tried with all the extra 3 auto-assign options off, and still lost the supply route. The only thing that I didn't tried was to turn off even the default one. But then, I'm playting with RotH exactly because I want less settlement interaction.
Also these...
Unofficial Patch was updated since the start.
Not using IDEK, and since most of the plans take all the limit, I can't even build other things. I'm doing a playthough with minimal settlement interaction.
Just vanilla supply mechanics.
I tried to find an answer, I tried to tweak options, like the ones for auto-assign settlers. But seems that everytime that I run a city plan refresh, a supply route of a semi-random settlement, breaks.
First was Sanctuary > Tenpines Bluff. After like 3 times seems that stop breaking. I even...
