    I have the same problem, it seems to be overly sensitive (dynamic needs seems to make it go batty), I just turned it off. I'm not sure if its solution of quickly jumping in and out of settlements is such a good one considering all the scripts the jump may trigger.

    I can safely say, size has no direct correlation to the long saves or freezing on exit. I have a 90mb save file that behaves the same as fresh ones, sometimes long, sometimes about a second.

    They can and do happen in Far harbor too, just took them a little while to catch up to my romp there, but they came eventually.

    I think this could be technically done but the story conflicts are unresolvable for me. I suppose if you wanted to roleplay someone whose mind was split by the trauma of watching their spouse die, losing their child and waking up 200 years after being nuked then it could work out just fine...

    Odd thing and may be speaking too soon but I haven't had a long save yet with G ----Edit spoke too soon, they restarted when I went to hq was okay for awhile in far harbor, longfellows and sanctuary (both have decent sized ss2 settlements).

    HQ inhabitants are dying??

    I have my settler mod and wsfw patch set so settlers are mortal. Settler disease is on, set so incapacitation is on, death is off. Science research is complete. This has happened to 5 or 6 since the end of ch2, any ideas?

    If you haven't figured it out yet, the assignment is a bit quirky, you want your admin target listed alone in the right hand screen of the traded window then just exit the screen without accepting the trade and you should get a msg after leaving the screen that XXX was assigned as administrator

    The SS2C2 saves are not really consistent for me, sometimes they are normal length of a few seconds at other times they can be a minute or more. Generally speaking saving after a long save will be near instant and saves will be quick until I enter a different settlement, then I may or may not...

    Maybe not related but exporting a settlement with WSFW will ALWAYS cause a very long save afterwards for me. Sometimes the game just completely freezes, I just got in the habit of killing it with task manager after export.

    I did not say it was gun for hire, I fumbled my way to the end of C2 with gun 4 hire installed, I said some people were having issues with the door patch.

    That line is required for mods with loose files to work. I use MO2 which doesn't have the problem of messing up the install folder but you'll need to clean yours and then do whatever Vortex does to reinstall your mods.

    Gun4hire in and of itself isn't the problem, but some people reported crashing issues with the patch that moves the door, Didn't look into myself.

    I have heard a few people were having issues with the ss2gun4hire door patch, could try to ditch that. The doors will overlap, for me I could click on the g4h sign to enter the g4h office and the door to go nightingales, ugly but worked (with no patch). Crime and punishment is pretty script...

    (bug?) Changing Resource Complexity and HQ constructables

    (v2.0e) Changing resource complexity from categories to simple in the MCM appears to clear the hq constructables, No constructables show up in the command menu after doing it. Simple is showing up twice under the MCM selection drop down with the second listing cause the game to freeze.

    HQ infirmary appears bugged

    Initial construction it built itself in between quadrants. Attempting to rebuild it via one of the controls on the pillars leaves an empty space, view details just shows Infirmary with no designer listed. It does not relist itself as constructable under the command menu (V).

    The solution wouldn't make sense to roll out sooner. I do think the whole system needs some tuning, the "uncurable" diseases shouldn't really start up until closer to the solution. Disease spread could be slowed down a bit and new diseases could popup a bit less often (just tweaks), maybe...

    There is a solution to the disease problem later on but I would agree its really overtuned.
