I use them at the castle - I have an Artillery Station on top of 3 of the wall corners, looking out. Mostly just aesthetic but it works well, especially if you use a mod like Craftable Castle Walls
Wasnt meant to mean that, I was trying to say the opposite. I just meant I'm trying to add turrets so that when you're actually present, the physical defence isn't pathetic compared to the workshop stats
@kinggath Just caught up on this thread. I'm also having issues with lvl 1 martial plots doubling their defence and I've had some reports of it as a bug in my addon from Nexus users. It seems to fix at higher tiers though. For me it's happening on all plots, 1x1 and 2x2, addon and vanilla.

@Tinuvia Was it just the addon you had to reinstall for your bug? This guy says he's tried redownloading manually but the problem still exists. Still the only person who's reported it so beginning to think there must just be a bit of weirdness going on with his game
I've had a report on Nexus that the Artillery gun model isn't showing up in someone's Artillery Stations. Having trouble working out why, so I'd appreciate it if people could try placing/refreshing one of these plots and let me know if there's an issue. If no one else finds it then I'm guessing...
They not in the Steam sales at the moment? I'd recommend them. Nuka World and Far Harbor are pretty good expansions, if a bit short. Their settlements are good for Sim Settlements too - they all seem pretty huge. Dalton Farm has taken over from Starlight Drive In as my largest town now

Lol, yes indeed. The red text in the description lays out roughly why. This latest building embraces it and makes use of a load of Nuka World models so yes, I can now say that this pack definitely requires the DLC.
Look at the Furniture tutorial in the Builder's Toolkit (pdf 04). That's a really straightforward tutorial which tells you how to dynamically spawn stuff, and hasn't really changed for the new SS version. That technique works for doors and all other stuff which isnt a static and cant be included...

Just released a new building, this time a Recreational plot. It's a shooting gallery which also generates a small amount of defence. Becomes 2 storeys tall at level 3. I'm adding a screenshot of level 3 to the Nexus page.
As MPilo said, I believe that JtBryant is working on a barracks which will include things like this. It's a great idea though, I might see if I can find out more about his plans. I have just started looking at NPC spawning etc. so something like that would be quite fun to try out.
