I tried getting MergePlugins to create a complete merged patch of all the Valdicil patches I have - but it always creates an empty ESP that NMM won't recognize. No idea what I'm doing wrong.
So I tried using FO4Edit as I have in the past, but hit a few snags with it wanting to add the original...
You know what? You're right, and I actually knew that but somehow - in my mod updating haze over the weekend - I installed them both. Doh! I have been meaning to delete the former now that I have the latter, but hadn't yet, and wasn't paying attention. My bad there.
Makes sense, and I...
Interesting, I hadn't seen that mod before. Similarly, I was considering using the Scavver's Toolbox, or the older Portable Junk Recycler, to at least lighten my load, but I don't want to scrap some items - obviously - however it'd be nice to then *easily* discard all the scrap into a pickup...
Over the weekend I too started having major stutter/fps drop/audio lags, and I don't use Scrap Everything. It began after installing the latest update to SS but I am reluctant to, at least solely, attribute that to the reason.
Other mods I added, or updated, might be factors;
Shadows for Sim...
I can't seem to find the SS needs HUD in the Def_UI menu setup at all -even after resetting it all to default. In game it's a bit obstructive and I would like to move it.
Not certain, but it would be immensely helpful. There are so many individual crafting stations all over the Commonwealth wasteland, and yet it's really not efficient to carry all the parts you might need to repair or build with them as you go, generally. Having some way to connect them, at least...
Feature creep and product bloat are real concerns when designing almost anything, esp software and games. So, it's understandable that eventually they've got to release a mostly functional product. I agree that they (Bethesda) seem to have overlooked, or underdeveloped, many features within the...
That's a great notion to consider, and it would really add to both the dynamic and organic growth realism - much like a typical RTS or City-builder game would.
That's interesting, I'll have to try testing that and see if it works. Seems only slightly useful, but still useful; especially for larger area gathering expeditions. Of course, to me, the whole idea of using SS and these other mods in conjunction is to reduce the amount of time and effort you...
Glad to hear that you got it fixed. It's not without it's quirks and bugs, though since it's such a conplex system and still in development, that's to be expected. But I agree, Sim Settlements has given me more reasons to get back into Fallout 4 - the original poorly conceived system left me at...
I had similar issues after the latest update. What "seems" to have worked so far is - seriously - to walk... very... slowly. Approach and pause every few feet as you go. I think allows the game a chance to generate and load.
Granted, before that, I also tried loading the last save before the...
Uh, what if it did? I actually have the problem where SS scrapped Mama Murphy's chair, and it's not in the build menu again. I'm not sure what to do. Mama is asking to sit down, and the chair doesn't seem to have been relocated. I tried consoling the chair to my position but it doesn't appear to...
