Hey folks,
I cleared out Kingsport Lighthouse and when walking down some stairs, I hear a sound and massive radiation damage will occur. It's above 30 rads per second, so it will kill settlers pretty much instantly. I found someone having the same problem on nexusmods forum (here's the link to...
I manually reinstalled SimSettlements and was able to refresh all plots in the bugged settlements. It crashed a few times doing that but eventually it went through. I still get the occasional bugged plot, but nowhere near as frequent as it used to happen. Thanks guys.
It seems like it doesn't happen on industrial or indoor plots, I had all other types bug out tho. Happened in Sanctuary, Red Rocket, Abanathy Farm and Egret so far. Tenpines and Outpost Zimonja were working fine.
I installed SimSettlements via using the Vortex MM, I could try to manually...
Started a playthrough and got a problem with plots not initializing. I plop them down and they stay at the "Unoccupied Lot" state for a long time (I waited at least 20 minutes). No ASAM sensors are being built on them, no building plan is being selected, they are just empty. I can still manually...
Stockpile is only one of the requirements to fulfill, the other one is time. A plot needs to be built for, I think, 7 in-game days before it can upgrade. It'll also take a while for the game to realize that both requirements are met, shouldn't take more than 5minutes tho.
Hey,
not sure if this is even possible, but I would like it if there would be a way to snap plots to a water surface just as it snaps to land. Currently, the snapping feature makes the plots stick to the ground which can be a good bit underwater which leads to half-sunken plots. I do use Place...
It happened again even tho I disabled re-assigning from defense. I took a screenshot of the property screen of the settler from the ASAM Maintenance Software, maybe it helps you to figure out the problem =)
Edit: Welp, image tags don't seem to work: https://imgur.com/DJomsD7
I just started a play-through where I restrict myself to not get the Overseer's Guardian and take a wild guess what a ghoul in the National Guard Training Yard drops... a two-shot Combat Rifle. Yeah, thanks lol.
Hey man,
the Big Bertha and the Mega Tank plots keep getting unassigned, or at least the settler that is working on them stops producing defense, but is still marked to have the job on that plot. Reassigning settlers via ASAM Maintenance software will fix it once I'm in the settlement, but they...
It was not the Covenant turrets. I tried going there to shoot them all and the maintenance cost didn't go down. It was 30 caps btw.
Fixed it with the "Rebuild Local Data" tool in the terminal. Now everything is back to normal.
Hey folks,
I randomly got a message that told me Taffington Boathouse had a deficit, so I went there and couldn't find anything that would have maintenance costs. The only non-SimSettlements object in there is the beacon, so what is causing the cost? I also had the settlement up and running for...
Hey, Minutemen Guard Force illogical rotation
I didn't tag this as a bug, but I think it would make much more sense to have the searchlight of the plot guarding the other side. Right now, it's searching inside the settlement, which seems kinda illogical to me. Just my opinion, tho.
ASAM Maintenance Software is a must have for me. The ability to call homeless/unemployed settlers instead of calling all for a town meeting is invaluable. You can also easily check for missing power because it allows you to mark problematic plots, so no more ASAM vision awkwardness.
They fail to provide defense if you build multiple in the same settlement and then upgrade at the same time, if I remember correctly. But if you just wait for the "New Barracks registered" message before upgrading the second one, you won't run into any problems.
