Okay hear me out, Tenpenny tower, but built at covenant.

Originally the Covenant Hotel, the residents of Covenant found this mostly intact building and decided to restore and fortify it.

The Lobby, with much of the prewar luggage still around.

While many of the pre-war tourist attractions are exactly safe, visitors can find useful information about many post-war areas.

A staple of pre-war life, Slocum Joe's lives on due to a steady supply of silt beans.

One of the maintenance hallways serves as Talia's home and respite from the prying eyes of visitors.

A luxury in the commonwealth, laundry is still supplied to guests.

While Covenant has a very friendly outward appearance to visitors, a local security office is still required in case of raiders.

While many of the upper floors are heavily damaged, an opportunistic tenant has taken advantage of one of the old abandoned penthouses .

The residents of Covenant have taken advantage of many of the rooftop water towers, and verticality for defence.

Edit: Forgot to link my Level 3 save

yeah, I love the idea, but the build box for covenant is rather short, like no higher than the houses that short.

From bridges to towers! The journey of the architect!

The build limit for Covenant is small. Even doubling it will be small.

Just a thought mate. The destroyed warehouse\workshop in Concord with the collapsed floor...........

I like how Bethesda did the destroyed floors in the workhouse but I'm probably only going to build 1 or 2 floors, then have destroyed stairwells blocked off or something. The hardest part is hiding the houses. :(

Already at 80% build limit and it's literally just an empty box

yeah, I built a raider owned guns and ammo factory and it was such a small location build wise and height wise, and budget-wise, you have a nice tenpenny tower there.

It looks awesome BTW. :)

Thanks guys! I've been looking at the way they built Hotel Rexford and I'm not sure if I want to build it as destroyed or not. :)

There is a point where the whole building will pop out of existence because of the LOD, but I'm pretty happy with how much of a landmark it is.

Covering up the houses has been the biggest challenge so far, but I'm pretty happy with the result.

Another impressive erection...err....building XmX! :) 1 floor for the settlers and then 9-10 floors of player home?

So I'm thinking lobby area plus another floor for the settlers, then a floor for the player home. I'd love to have a penthouse player home, but it'd be a nightmare to get up to.
I wish there was a way to make two buildable doors that were tied to each other. So that you could enter one and you'd exit the other.

There IS a mod that does that, but not allowed for the contest of course.
Something to consider for releasing it later though...
It would just need a little CC edit when done (After contest Done).
