Question Infinite load when starting a new game

Jumping back into FO4 after binging FO76 for while and giving Conqueror a shot. I've got everything ready to go but Conqueror doesn't want to play along. I can start a new game with Conqueror disabled but not with it enabled. I'm using MO2 and I do not have any Creation Club content enabled. Any help would be appreciated

Can confirm this happened to me too, and the issue persists even if you uninstall all non-SS mods, but starting a new game works fine once all SS mods are uninstalled. The best workaround I've found is using a hard save I made right after character creation in the bathroom for all my new playthroughs, but could I also get around this by not using the patch even though I have Nuka installed? (ie will Conqueror work without the patch)

Think so. Also, think you can enable NW patch after you get thru start

That's still a problem, but there is a workaround. If you watch the little loading wheel in the bottom you'll notice that, after a certain amount of time, it freezes for half a second.

If you press Enter after that, it moves on and gets rid of the loading screen issue. It's basically some kind of prompt that has decided to open behind the loading screen when it shouldn't.
