Question Scared To Use This Mod

I play on the PC have the zero-happiness bug afflicting my settlements, a huge problem for me. I would like to use the Workshop Framework to fix it (which appears to be one of its functions), BUT I am intimidated the number of bugs and crashes reported in the Nexus forums. ("For some reason since the most recent F4SE update this mod breaks numerous scrips on NPCs and such across the game." VERY scary!) So is installing the framework as dangerous as it sounds? Can we expect an update anytime soon?

The "zero happiness bug" is in reality a "this settlement has never registered with WorkshopParent" bug. It can mean either a load order issue, or a really bad and broken settlement mod, or something wrong with your save. In any case, WSFW won't fix that for you.

As I posted in your Nexus thread, your save is broken, since you uninstalled a settlement mod.

No idea what these commenters on the nexus are on about. never heard about any issue like that.

the nexusmods site is great for hosting mods, but the sheer amount of uninformed, and plainly wrong comments on their mod forums make them a minefield for any kind of troubleshooting, unless the mod author is extremely diligent in curating the forums.
in short - i wouldn't believe the vast majority of posts on there especially when people are "diagnosing" their problems.
in terms of expecting an update soon - what update are you talking about?

I'm not sure whether any update is needed to address the complaints in the Nexus forum. There may be a conflict with another mod.
