XBOX Question: How to turn of the Shelter Mechanic

Note that this is not yet an issue since I am still early in my playthrough, but in a "just in case" senario in which something goes wrong and I need to turn it off: How do I turn off this setting, and if necessary, what additional mod do I need to download that will work like MCM (since it is not available for the Xbox) where I can adjust the settings?

I want to stress that so far there is nothing wrong with my game but I did read through the known bugs with SS and want to be prepared to work around it if the issue arises.

City Holotape> Options>Gameplay>Useability>Shelter fix
is that the one your looking for?

I have no idea. Is that what that function is for?

BTW, @uituit , one of the mods that I am using in this Xbox playthrough is your addon for Junk Town. I like it. It's really good.

Shelter fix is for when your bed count may be off and that should fix it up.

Thanks mate :) love hearing feedback from those who use my stuff :)

The Shelter Fix in the City Manager holotape doesn't disable the shelter mechanic, but rather just forces the game to recalculate shelter, since the mechanic is prone to generating erroneous numbers. Although you can configure it to run every time you enter a settlement, it's best to just to run it manually when you notice a problem.

If you want to disable the shelter mechanic completely, you'll need to craft and use the Workshop Framework settings holotape.

Gotcha. I remember seeing that item while looking in the chemistry crafting table. It's under utility, right? (Yeah, I found it!)

I am not 100% sure that even works properly.

I had used framework to turn off shelter, and set the shelter fix to run constantly.

The problem was not the bed counts, but was the shelter fixes were not being recognized in the happiness system calculations properly.

Also keep in mind there are MANY plots out there where people added beds to them then the plot upgrades and the bed disappears. It is kind of annoying.
