Solved Switching to 3-in-1 after using RoTC?

On or around November 15th, I started a new playthrough, and downloaded the newest version of SS. Apparently I did not download the AIO, although I clearly thought I did, because I spent several days trying to figure out why the planner desk kept telling me I had no city plans... Finally, I downloaded RoTC and that obviously made city plans work, and that was that.

But then I just realized today that I'm also missing Industrial Revolution...

So ideally I'd like to switch over to using the AIO, but what will happen if I do that mid-playthrough?

I didn't see this mentioned in the install instructions or any FAQs...

It should be fine..

Just be sure to identify your save before you do it in case you run into problems so you can roll back.

In this situation adding the other expansion packs in the form of the 3&1 shouldn’t be a problem.

Pretty sure I’ve seen (or heard) Kinggath say that switching from the three of them separately to the all-in-one was safe. Pretty sure I also remember hearing that Industrial Revolution could be added mid game. So by my math, it should be ok... but then again I also remember hearing that any time you add or remove a mod mid game there is some risk so... I would highly recommend following Ray Bo’s advice for rollback option unless you are prepared to start from scratch

Yes - its safe to switch. All the logic is in SimSettlements.esm - the addon packs simply load the meshes and textures.
