is there a place i can see which build mod i can and can't use or can i drop all build mods all together when I use Sim Settlements

Hi Kennace, and welcome. What do you mean by 'build mod"? If what you are asking is about using other structure mods with SS, the answer is most assuredly yes. For the most part you can mix SS plots freely. I like building large structures and loading them with SS interior plots. I don't play Conqueror, so YMMV will vary if you play as a raider.
