Incredible as usual. Very appropriate use of boat parts considering the location.

I think I need a tetanus shot just from looking at all the rusty metal in these pictures.

I am using this city plan in my current game. It is still only at base level. I have some things that don't look right based on this photo. On the bridge next to that lone power pole there are some steps with some wire fencing, a piece of roof and some support beams hanging in mid air off the edge of the bridge. A city refresh did nothing to change/move those objects. Is there anything that is supposed to be next to that power pole? Or is this screenshot how it should be with nothing next to the power pole?

I am unsure how to send you a picture. Would I need to upload it first? It has been years since I did that and I no longer have an account with a photobucket type site. Is there one you recommend?
 
Take an in game screenshot using the 'Print Screen' key. It will be saved in \Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4
Then select 'Upload a File' here and navigate to the screenshot.
 
i have the exact same problem as Barbara and made a profile just to say this.
also to ask, did you use any Add-Ons that you didnt include in your description? that's usually the reason why some buildings will look strange. i don't have any scrapping mods installed.

I think Myrmarachne only used our Wasteland Venturers All-In-One (Nexus). Nothing is built on top of the plots so if you don't have our addon pack any building should work fine, but will of course look different from the screenshots in the intro post.
 
Love the style and look of this plan! I finally got to Finch Farm and rescued Jake. I then went to set this up and half the bridge disappeared during the cinematic and never came back. So, now I have all of the level zero structures on that side of the bridge just hanging out in mid air where a bridge used to be. Is that a known issue with a simple fix? I tried refreshing and reloading a save and rebuilding, but it does the same thing. The bridge vanishes during the cinematic and pops back in a few times, but then disappears one last time and never comes back.

*I also just realized the Finch's shack is gone too. The wall signs, furniture and door are there, but no walls, floor or roof.

Those parts usually disappear if you have a scrapping mod installed (such as Scrap Everything). Since they allow for things to be scrapped that can't be scrapped in vanilla, when the city plan start building the bridge and original shack are removed as well. (Scrap mods in their nature break precombines and cause performance issues, so they are not recommended if you are using city plans.)
 
Thanks for the reply. Hmmm...I do not have any scrapping mods right now. I did have scrap everything loaded in a former playthrough. But this is a new game and it was uninstalled a couple of aborted playthoughs before beginning this new game. Is it still affecting things do you think?

I think you may need to do some editing in your games ini file. What may have happened, is your scrapping mod may have edited it to disable precombines while removing the mod won't have fixed it. There will be a line in there referring to precombines (either allow or disable I can't remember) you'll need to change the 0 or 1 at the end. Never done it myself and haven't got access to double check at the moment, but hopefully have pointed you in the right direction.

The specific '.ini' line I was trying to remember is 'bUseCombinedObjects=', but I'm struggling to find information about how to find/change it. Although most of the times this issue has come up it seems to have been fixed by removing the offending scrapping mod. It may be possible that another mod you have is messing with the precombines.
 
I looked up scrap everything and found mention of that line. But nope. No bUseCombinedObjects in my ini file. I am not sure what would be breaking pre combines. I do have a robust load order but it's almost all Sim Settlements stuff and settlement crafting things like G2M, DoitYourshelf and settlement supplies expanded and a dozen or so retextures of items. Nothing that does anything with Finch Farm. The only thing I can thing of that would break precombines is one of the settlement crafting mods. But why would they ? Also, I have three other city plans that have built up to level 2 and 3 with no weirdness. Would that be relevant? Or can it vary from settlement and/or city plan to settlement and/or city plan?

Thank you again for the help. I understand if you're tapped out. Just curious.
