Question Mole rat Freeze bug in Red Rocket Cave & Concord Civic Access

I experience the freeze bug in concord civic access (also in the molerat den under red rocket) when engaging with molerats on a fresh new Playthrough. For me this occurs only when Conqueror is active. The bug doesn't occur for me if other Sim Settlement mods (Sims Settlement 3-in-1 & Year 1 Megapack) are active except Conqueror.
 
yeah, good luck with it mate. if you get it, your game is hosed. its been around since the game was released, there is no solution although loads of people have (mistakenly) linked it to allsorts of various mods over the years. linking it to simsettlements or its various addon packs is just another variation on it.
 
Thank you for your immediate reply. After a thorough read from the link provided, i stumbled upon this post (can't post link) which suggested that removing some of other addon pack of SS might do the trick, therefore I tried disabling SS City Plan Pack - Contest Entries plugin and started a fresh playthrough and immediately rushed to the molerat den. Fortunately, I successfully cleared it without any freezes/CTD. Then I immediately enter Concord Civic Access and also managed to cleared it without any freezes/CTD as well. I'm gonna try another 2 or 3 fresh new playthrough to try to reaffirm if that particular plugin has possible conflict with the latest SS/Conqueror (at least, for my own game if not for others who experience this issue as well). Will report back later.
 
I've gotten this bug with/without sim settlements. It happens randomly. It can happen in any interior space with molerats. You can power your way through it using console commands: tdetect - stops the molerats from seeing you (them going hostile seems to be the issue). Then kill them. Don't forget to toggle it back on once you've cleared the space or nothing will go hostile on you. If that doesn't work and you still crash, I've been able to clear a space using kah (kill all hostiles) right after the load screen.

Easiest thing is to simply avoid places with molerats if your playthrough has this bug (there aren't that many). I really like having the Drinking Buddy, so I'll use the console if it buggers up there. I've never had it vault 81 even in games where it's borked elsewhere, so the actual gameplay effect is pretty small - certainly not worth a restart.
 
I have it on my current playthrough, it's the first time I've gotten it.
At the start of the game I leave vault 111 and head straight to Nukaworld, it wasn't until I was doing the Mad Mulligans Mine quest that I got it with the blood worms. They use the same ambush script as molerats I believe, which I think is the source of the problem.
It doesn't freeze or CTD for me, I just can't leave the cell, I get a constant load screen. If a mole rat becomes hostile to me or a companion, or dies once I'm in the same internal cell it happens.
Any quest that involves me killing either I have to setstage to complete it to avoid going into an internal cell with them.
 
Its a little late, but when I ran into that issue removing "Scrap Everything" fixed it.
I'll be damned if I knew why.... Scrap Everything only seems to edit the names of the mounds.
