Just a Thought

Having no clue where to even begin to create a Mod I hope this suggestion doesn't come off offensive.

However... when selecting which model to build I like the fact that when selecting KingGath's models it comes with a brief description and then a choice yea/nay on whether to build. I'm aware there's a spot to view all the various designs, but I like being surprised, so I don't want to look at the pictures. But it's still nice to have an idea; One or Two Stories... Trailer... single window... etc. Not sure what it takes to make that happen; but is just a nice little extra.

But regardless... please keep making them. Most times I actually let it pick randomly; but occasionally I need to select it. My next large settlement should have no two houses alike :).

Edit: Awesome.... I like the smilie face :) LOL

Hi! I also think the build messages are a good way to warn the player of odd sizes or placement, and if a certain foundation type suits extra well, so we have them for all of our plots (Wasteland Venturers) - had a lot of fun writing them too ;)

Come to think of it, not sure we added the number of stories to MrJoseCuervo's messages, will fix that!

Best to check the mod list sticky, all known mainline addons for SS are in there and I've not run into a single one that was bad.

Sounds great... but I'm not sure where to find the Mod List Sticky. I found one link called 'Add-On Links' (I believe) and found 3 add-ons and Nexus links to them; is this what you were speaking of; or are there more???

Sorry... but maneuvering forums is not what they use to me ... but I am getting better :)

The 'Add-on link' thread is mostly for new addons that haven't received their own section yet. You can find discussions about most of them under the authors names in the thread 'Addon packs', like 'AltairP's place' and 'Brae's trenches' etc.

If you just want an overview to compare them, and links to Nexus, the Addon section on the wiki is best (though not completely updated).

For Bad Neighbors and Slum Lord, I'd go for the new all-in-one version Always Free.

The all in one seems awesome; unfortunately I don't have Harbour... I'm running just Vanilla. But thanx for pointing me in the right direction; I'm a kid in a Candy Store...Woot!!!

Edit: Whoops... I almost missed your link to Wiki... even better. Double Thanx!!!
