Suggestion Custom Settlements

For the sake of transparency, here is the "conversation" (if you can call it that) between me and him in PM. Hell, I didn't even read the response until now.

I will admit, I could have used some kinder language perhaps, but by this point I had completely run out of any sort of patience with him.

PS: If he thinks saying that I'm "asinine" and "anal retentive" is enough to offend me, then I hate to disappoint, but you're going to have to do way better than that.

That being said, I say about time we put this little episode behind us and move onto better things.

I'll check out Neeher's
Has some errors!
IF you follow E's tutorial to the letter.. it works perfectly.
For step 3: Keep it very simple!
Just use the WorkshopExteriorStartPackin supplied buildareaRef and SandboxRef and resize them to cover your settlement. Really.. the only time you need multiplie BuildRefs is if you have an odd shaped settlement.
And be VERY careful of the link direction! I buggered that several times! LOL

Noted. Any video tutorials you would recommend?

That's the point where things went wrong.

It is regrettable that you can not see his latest "perfect" release as non-working supply lines. As far as he's concerned it is the "locations fault". I was going to comment, considering I helped fix the Nu Cafe Ola supply lines, but decided, no, this time I want popcorn.

I have the urge to redo a correct settlement mod at every location he has done out of pure spite. Unfortunately he's never commented on one of my mods, so I can't block him from downloading them. A missed opportunity for schadenfreude.

But first, I'd like to get a test settlement running correctly.

Library Living works well enough. Though you must enable it after you finished the quest there. And I scrapped the water down below.

I'd like more subway settlements. There is this one, but it's somewhat buggy, and worst of all, named wrongly!

That's Ragoda. I'm not going to touch it.

This is by Tarsis31. It's hit and miss with their mods. Although, more subway settlements would be cool.

I will take this under advisement and if I do experience CTD, I will remove it.
I no longer even follow Ragoda's releases anymore. However, you should know that once you add a settlement to your game, and activate it, it changes the in game settlement data structures. If you remove it, these structures get corrupted, and the game will no longer function correctly.

If possible revert to before you installed it, if not leave it in until this game is finished.

Yagisan, As you have actually produced mods for settlements I'm guessing some of the common errors on other settlement mods out there are, Settlers not arriving, the cell resetting, buildings disappearing and other settlement items not working properly? Would I be correct in making this assumption ?
