I would like to ask for feedback on my Addon for Reboot

If you're still interested in suggestions for foundations, I had another idea the other day.
I'm actually very interested especially after yesterday. With some help I was able to get through 2 of the major issue stopping points for the foundations on the same day. I now have SMM Menu support with a new menu category with separation for 1x1/2x2/3x3/Terraformers, big thanks to @Whisper for his SMM tutorial! It will now not be a concern to worry about cluttering the foundations menu inside the sim settlements menu, I have it set with my new category in Structures.

I also have a working script to allow optional dependencies for DLCs & Creation Club as well as potentially other mods if I may make some use of them without packaging any assets.

Hybrid Foundations.
Basically a combination of different ones in a logical fashion. For example, two concrete foundations with two stilt type foundations. Useful for slopes where you'd be more likely to use the concrete when the slope is shallower, but more likely to use stilts as the space between the foundation and the sloped ground increases.
I'm not 100% sure I understand the idea, just would like clarification to be sure.

Could I propose a new foundation type, that no one has asked for or mentioned?

I have seen city contest people do this at various locations - and I do as well, because it adds an ambience different than normal, tight locations, small settlements, where you have to squeeze things in together, easier snapping, etc..

Foundation plots for the interior plots.

I know... sounds strange and odd... a foundation, like a wood one with stilts, a concrete one, etc... that would allow stairs and walls to snap to...

For example, the interior plot for IDEK logistics station ... I generally make a small hut for this, then finagle the plot inside.. I know place everywhere... got it... but if it was like a 2x2, a 1x1, you can snap together, build around, on, attach stairs...

I also like to take an interior ag plot, smack it against a building side, but then have to finagle walls, an awning etc. over it...

Just a thought... and it would help have a plot that the Random Plot Generator Mod Author could include... and then however or whichever plot occurred, the player can configure the walls, doors, access plots based on what plot shows up...

Sure!

So currently all the 2x2 plots are using all the same materials/meshes for all 4 'squares'. What I'm suggesting is mixing up some of the squares with different materials/meshes. I was mostly coming from a terrace type situation, where the square(s) closest to the slope would still be solid, but further down the slope, where realistically the amount of concrete/solid material would be too costly, you'd use some form of stilts instead.

Other situations could include foundations intended to border water ways, so the 2 squares on the one side might be of the 'anti-erosion' type, while the other 2 might be more normal/basic (or just different).

Does that make more sense?

Oh a terrace type? I can do that for sure. Ones that go on a steep slope/cliff could be really cool too IMO.

That's a good point. There are certainly several settlements that could make use of them. It should also be possible to design them so they're compatible with hanging off the sides of other buildings/constructions.

EDIT: It just occurred to me that having some 'cliffside' foundations hanging off the side of the screen at Starlight Drive In would look amazing!
